Position Summary
Blue Yonder Defense Solutions (BYDS) is seeking a Technical Project Manager ( solutions design) will be a member of the development team for BYDS Defense Core Supply Chain Application module suite. BYDS Defense Core Supply Chain Application modules are built on the Blue Yonder Platform, a runtime and SDK for building enterprise business applications. This position requires travel up to 25% each month. The TPM will be responsible for leading solution implementation and working directly with customers and internal stakeholders, including product management, functional analysts, development, and QA.
Position Summary

This position requires travel up to 25% each month. The TPM will be responsible for leading solution implementation and working directly with customers and internal stakeholders, including product management, functional analysts, development, and QA.
Essential Functions:
Conducting discovery sessions with Customers
Analyzing Customer requirements and documenting Software Requirements Specification
Producing design documents and participating in design reviews
Creating project plans
Writing code, unit tests, and build/deployment scripts-minimally
Guiding and mentoring a team of developers
Participating in code reviews
Reviewing test strategies
Monitoring and managing project execution
Executing performance/scalability tests & profiling hotspots
Collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders, including product management, program management, functional analysts, development, and QA.
Education:
BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or Supply Chain.
Experience and Skills:
Minimum 10 years of experience in writing software in their background
Strong analytical problem-solving skills
Knowledge of data modeling techniques and best practices – including Domain Driven Design.
Experience delivering projects using the Agile methodology, specifically Scrum or SAFE (Scalable Agile for Enterprises).
Experience building and deploying applications in cloud-based environments including, AWS, MS Azure, or Oracle OCI
Strong Object-Oriented Programming Skills. Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Extensive knowledge of the Java programming language
Experience with relational databases (preferably Oracle). Should be able to write SQL queries.
Experience with enterprise integration patterns & protocols, such as REST, EDI, SOAP.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, support
Prior experience in development or consulting with an enterprise software vendor is a plus.
Functional knowledge of supply chains, logistics, order management, master data management, cataloging, etc. is a plus
Experience with modern web client technologies (i.e. React) is a plus

salary range for this position - $140,000 to $160,000.00
The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
