Job Title: Technical Consultant II
Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Position Summary:
The Technical Consultant II is a customer-facing technology professional responsible for providing post-implementation support, troubleshooting technical issues, gathering and analyzing customer business requirements, and configuring NCR software solutions to meet client needs. The role serves as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring successful solution adoption, operational excellence, and business value realization. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise, consulting skills, and customer engagement capabilities to deliver exceptional service and build confidence in NCR's solutions and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide post-go-live support for NCR software solutions, ensuring system stability, performance, and customer satisfaction.
Troubleshoot and resolve application, configuration, and technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Work directly with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into effective software configurations and solutions.
Configure, customize, and optimize NCR products and solutions to meet customer operational and business needs.
Act as a trusted advisor and primary technical point of contact for assigned customers.
Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions for recurring issues.
Collaborate with internal development, product, support, and project teams to resolve customer challenges.
Document customer requirements, solution designs, configurations, and support activities.
Support software upgrades, patches, releases, and system enhancements.
Assist in solution testing, validation, and deployment activities.
Deliver technical guidance, product knowledge, and best-practice recommendations to customers.
Monitor solution performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
Maintain effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders throughout issue resolution and project activities.
Participate in customer meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required.
Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing customer experience and service delivery.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering (SE), or a related field.
6 to 7 years of customer-facing experience in technical consulting, software support, implementation, or a related field.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong customer service orientation and relationship management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel approximately 15% to 25% as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
SQL experience
Microsoft Server Product Knowledge
Previous experience within ATM/banking industry is a plus
