PRIORITY Quality Consultants, on behalf of its client, a well-established IT company specializing in the design and implementation of complex information systems and digital transformation projects for public sector organizations, is seeking a Technical Business Analyst / Product Owner to join its team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, working closely with Project Managers, Technical Team Leaders, and Development Teams to ensure the successful delivery of complex IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and evaluate functional specifications and business requirements provided by clients and project stakeholders.
- Identify gaps, ambiguities, dependencies, and potential risks in functional requirements, ensuring all necessary clarifications are obtained before implementation.
- Translate business and functional requirements into clear, structured, and actionable user stories, including acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with Technical Team Leaders to break down user stories into well-defined technical tasks for development teams.
- Act as a key liaison between Project Managers, technical teams, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
- Monitor project execution and development progress, identifying potential delays, dependencies, and implementation challenges.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular progress updates to the Lead Project Manager.
- Support backlog management, task prioritization, and coordination of development activities.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in a similar role within IT or software development projects.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and technical concepts, including software architecture, APIs, databases, and system integrations.
- Hands-on experience in requirements analysis, user story creation, and technical task breakdown.
- Experience using Jira or similar project management and issue-tracking tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Project Managers, Software Developers, and Technical Team Leaders.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in complex project environments.
- Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in IT projects for public sector organizations.
- Experience in healthcare IT systems or digital transformation projects within the healthcare sector.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycles.
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), Scrum Master, CBAP, or PMI-PBA.
- Experience working on large-scale information systems involving multiple development teams and stakeholders.
