About The Job:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to act as a trusted technical advisor and escalation point for customers and delivery teams.

This role focuses on solution guidance, architectural reviews, technical impact assessment, and customer engagement rather than hands-on development or building architectures from scratch. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership to SDMs, Technical Leads, and customers, ensuring solutions align with architectural standards, platform capabilities, product principles, upgradeability, and best practices.

The role serves as a key bridge between customers, delivery teams, and product teams, supporting technical decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires a strong combination of enterprise application knowledge, product and platform expertise, delivery experience, and customer-facing technical judgment. The successful candidate should be able to translate complex technical questions and customer requirements into practical, sustainable, and low-risk solution recommendations.

What you will be doing:

Customer & Delivery Advisory

·       Act as a trusted technical advisor for customers and internal delivery teams.

·       Lead technical discussions, workshops, and architecture review sessions.

·       Support customer-facing conversations related to Change Requests (CRs), enhancements, integrations, and technical challenges.

·       Serve as a technical escalation point for complex platform-related issues.

·       Communicate technical constraints, trade-offs, dependencies, risks, and recommended approaches to customers and internal stakeholders in a clear and commercially aware manner.

·       Support delivery teams in resolving complex technical issues and provide clear recommendations and decision paths when multiple technical options exist.

Solution Review & Architectural Guidance

·       Review proposed solution designs and architectural changes to ensure alignment with architectural standards and best practices.

·       Provide technical guidance and recommendations to SDMs and Technical Leads.

·       Assess technical impacts, dependencies, implementation risks, and upgrade considerations.

·       Review CRs, Statements of Work (SOWs), technical proposals, and design documents from a technical and architectural perspective.

·       Evaluate whether customer requirements can be addressed through existing product capabilities, configuration, extension, or customization, and recommend the most appropriate approach.

·       Assess the impact of proposed solutions on product integrity, reusability, maintainability, upgradeability, package deployments, and future implementations.

·       Challenge proposed technical approaches when appropriate and provide practical alternatives that balance customer needs, technical quality, delivery effort, and long-term product sustainability.

·       Assess the technical feasibility, complexity, dependencies, risks, and likely implementation impact of CRs and proposed solutions to support sound delivery and commercial decisions.

Platform & Technical Expertise

·       Develop and maintain deep knowledge of enterprise application architecture, platform capabilities, product functionality, and implementation patterns.

·       Understand technical differences across product versions and evaluate their impact on implementations and upgrades.

·       Assess package deployments, merges, upgrade paths, and customization impacts.

·       Provide expert guidance on platform capabilities, configuration options, and technical constraints.

·       Understand how product capabilities, configuration, extensions, and customizations should be applied across different implementation scenarios.

·       Identify potential technical debt, upgrade risks, and project-specific customizations that may have broader product or implementation implications.

·       Understand the practical impact of technical decisions across development, testing, deployment, production support, and future upgrades.

Collaboration & Leadership

·       Work closely with Product Management, SDMs, Technical Leads, and Delivery Managers.

·       Support teams in resolving complex technical and architectural challenges.

·       Promote best practices and knowledge sharing across projects.

·       Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery standards and technical governance.

·       Work closely with Development, QA, Business Analysis, Architecture, Product, and Delivery teams to ensure technical decisions are practical and consistently applied.

·       Contribute to technical governance by identifying recurring implementation challenges, product gaps, and opportunities for standardization.

What we are looking for:

Required Qualifications

·       7+ years of experience in software development, solution architecture, technical consulting, or related roles.

·       Strong understanding of .NET-based enterprise application architecture and layered application design.

·       Experience evaluating technical solutions, architectural changes, integrations, and customization impacts.

·       Ability to review technical designs and provide practical guidance to development and delivery teams.

·       Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

·       Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable recommendations.

·       Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

·       Experience working on enterprise software implementations and understanding the practical implications of technical decisions on development, testing, deployment, upgrades, and project delivery.

·       Experience working closely with Development, QA, Business Analysis, Product Management, and Delivery teams.

·       Experience working within customer-facing project environments and distributed teams.

·       Ability to evaluate technical options and make pragmatic recommendations considering product capabilities, customer requirements, delivery impact, technical risk, and long-term maintainability.

Nice to Have

·       Experience in banking, digital banking, or financial services projects.

·       Experience supporting enterprise software products and large-scale implementations.

·       Experience with software upgrades, package deployments, and product customizations.

·       Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and modern application deployment practices.

·       Experience participating in architecture review boards or technical governance activities.

·       Experience evaluating OOB capabilities, configuration-based solutions, extensions, and customizations within enterprise products.

·       Awareness of AI-assisted software engineering, AI-enabled development practices, and emerging AI technologies relevant to enterprise software delivery.

·       Ability to evaluate how AI-assisted engineering and emerging AI capabilities can improve solution delivery, engineering productivity, testing, and technical governance.
