Job Summary

The Task Worker (SP) will portray the characteristics of a real patient, simulating the signs and symptoms. The SP will be physically examined by students and faculty as part of the College of Nursing & Health Services learning experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work in a professional manner when interacting with staff and students.

• Be comfortable having repeated physical examination maneuvers performed.

• Simulate all aspects of scenarios, including history of current problem, affect/behavior and physical findings in a standardized, accurate, and reliable manner.

• Follow written and verbal instructions.

Minimum Requirements

• Education- High school graduate or equivalent

• Experience- No experience required.

• May not be a currently enrolled undergraduate student at Texas A&M International University.

Preferred Education and Experience

• One year of related experience.

Knowledge and Abilities

• Multitask and work cooperatively with others.

• Verbal and written communication skills.

• Attention to detail.

Pay of Rate: $25.00/hour for up 8 hours weekly
