Job Description

Role Summary/Purpose

• The is a role to lead product design for reliability on system, image quality, hardware, software and service design to build quality product for customer, including setup the reliability tests methodology and identify the growth area for new product introduction programs with new digital/AI technical skills deployment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Using GE Design for Reliability methodology to drive team to delivery design for reliability analysis, modeling and gap/opportunity definition
• Knowing product user clinical usages/scenarios and design reliability tests for system, hardware
• Driving product expected service life discussion and decision for program in cross-function team with product manage
• Driving the reliability test infrastructure build, execution and test result analysis and design defects summary for design team with new digital/AI technical skills
• Preparing statistics data/analysis for service design improvement for product lifecycle
• Clear and independently doing global communication to leadership on reliability design/execution
• Learning and leverage reliability design from other modalities eg. CT, MR, Surgery
• Leading reliability group works together on cycling execution

Qualifications / Requirements

• BS Degree in Reliability Engineering or Computer/ statistics Science with 3 years relevant work experience.
• Practical experience in reliability engineering and testing
• Global working experience in engineering
• Strong data analysis/trending and script design skills

Desired Characteristics

• Passionate for team work and team discussion
• Familiar with p-diagram and FMEA methodology
• Willingness to find issues to contribute the design team on quality and make constructive suggestion
• Willingness to learn on product design and reliability testing, and be humble
• Nice to have on 6-sigma design experience
• Strong quality mindset with leadership’s support

Language:

• Fluent English communication skills is required for this job with a lot of global communication with peers and leaders

Note:

• Components or communication industrial reliability working experience is not preferred.
