Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Supervisor, Revenue Cycle to support home health billing operations and help ensure accurate account information, timely billing, compliant processes, and optimal reimbursement. This working supervisor leads team workflow while remaining connected to day-to-day revenue cycle work, including billing, accounts receivable, collections, payment posting, refunds, denial management, reporting, and customer service.

What You Will Do

• Supervise the daily workflow of a revenue cycle business support team and perform portions of the work being supervised.

• Support complete and accurate physician, hospital, and/or home health billing, compliant coding, denial management, revenue reporting, and reimbursement activities.

• Assist with day-to-day accounts receivable operations, including billing, collections, cash posting, refunds, and customer service.

• Communicate operational information to staff, take ownership of issues, and follow concerns through to resolution.

• Build cooperative working relationships with other Cincinnati Children’s departments and outside agencies.

• Plan and implement departmental projects, coordinate resources and schedules, prepare status updates, and track action items and open issues.

• Provide significant input into hiring, promotion, termination, and job-status recommendations.

• Assist with departmental fiscal responsibilities, including tracking revenue, expenses, allocations, and applicable reports.

What Will Help You Be Successful

• Strong knowledge of revenue cycle workflows and the ability to guide a team through ongoing operational issues.

• Experience organizing workflow, communicating priorities, and following issues through completion.

• Ability to balance hands-on work with team guidance, project coordination, and performance responsibilities.

• A collaborative approach to working across departments and with external partners.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.

• 3+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Helpful experience includes healthcare revenue cycle operations such as home health billing, billing, accounts receivable, collections, payment posting, refunds, denial management, or customer service.

• Experience serving as a lead, working supervisor, or resource for a business support team is helpful.

• Experience coordinating projects, monitoring financial activity, or preparing operational reports is helpful.
