Position Summary

The Support Engineer, SAP BW provides expert remote support for mission‑critical SAP BW environments across 4.x, ECC, and HANA landscapes. This role focuses on BW architecture, data modeling, ETL, performance troubleshooting, and integration within highly customized client systems. SAC knowledge is helpful but secondary.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP BW issues across data loads, InfoProviders, queries, and performance.
• Partner closely with customers to understand requirements and deliver high‑quality support.
• Support BW customizations and provide best‑practice recommendations.
• Develop and deliver fixes for BW defects and data integrity issues.
• Advise key accounts on BW technical and functional topics.
• Use proprietary tools and remote access to resolve issues in test and client environments.
• Participate in 24x7x365 global support rotation with flexible work hours.
• Contribute to internal knowledge bases, diagnostic tools, and process improvements.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

• Other job-related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time based on progression and nature of opportunities

Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years SAP experience with deep BW, Basis, NetWeaver, and integration knowledge.
• Strong BW modeling, ETL, BEx, and performance tuning background.
• Experience with major databases and OS platforms.

• Ability to work from office & ability to work remotely from a home based office in a virtual environment

Language

• Fluent Portuguese and English. Spanish is a plus.
