We are currently seeking a Staff or Senior Strategic Sourcing & Analytics Program Manager to drive strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier analytics, and data-driven decision-making across the Supply Chain organization. This role will combine strong program management, sourcing expertise, and advanced analytical capabilities to identify opportunities, improve supplier and sourcing performance, and deliver measurable business value.
You Will:
- Lead strategic sourcing programs and cross-functional initiatives across key commodities, categories, and supplier portfolios.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies using spend, cost, supplier, market, and operational data to identify opportunities and inform decisions.
- Build and track KPIs and dashboards related to sourcing performance, cost, savings, supplier performance, risk, capacity, and program execution.
- Perform spend analysis, cost analysis, supplier benchmarking, and scenario modeling to support sourcing and negotiation strategies.
- Partner with Purchasing, Engineering, Supplier Quality, Finance, Manufacturing, Logistics, and other Supply Chain teams to translate business requirements into sourcing strategies and actionable plans.
- Drive supplier selection and sourcing processes, including RFQs/RFPs, bid analysis, supplier evaluations, business cases, and sourcing recommendations.
- Establish analytical frameworks and standardized reporting to improve visibility, sourcing governance, and speed of decision-making.
- Identify cost optimization, supplier consolidation, localization, risk mitigation, and supply continuity opportunities across the supply base.
- Develop executive-level reporting, insights, and recommendations that clearly communicate sourcing performance, risks, opportunities, and required actions.
- Lead complex cross-functional programs from strategy through implementation, ensuring milestones, business objectives, and financial targets are achieved.
- Proactively identify sourcing and supplier risks, lead escalations when necessary, and develop mitigation and recovery plans with key stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation of sourcing processes, analytics, reporting, and workflows.
- Support development of best practices, tools, and operating mechanisms that increase the maturity and effectiveness of the strategic sourcing organization.
You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline required; Master’s or advanced degree preferred.
- Generally, requires 5+ years of related experience for Senior and 8+ for Staff role level.
- Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, program management, analytics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to develop sourcing strategies and translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in spend analysis, cost modeling, supplier performance analytics, KPI development, and business case creation.
- Strong business and financial acumen, including the ability to evaluate cost drivers, trade-offs, sourcing scenarios, and supplier proposals.
- Proven program management skills with the ability to lead multiple complex, cross-functional initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to align stakeholders and drive decisions across functional and organizational boundaries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into concise executive-level recommendations.
- Open-minded, resourceful self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP systems such as SAP and analytics/visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with sourcing, procurement, or supplier-management tools and workflow automation platforms is preferred.
- Ability to anticipate challenges, structure ambiguous problems, and develop practical, data-driven solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting sourcing in automotive, manufacturing, hardware, or other complex global supply chain environments.
- Experience with category strategy, supplier negotiations, cost reduction, should-cost analysis, or supplier capacity/risk management.
- Experience developing executive dashboards and automated sourcing analytics.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier lifecycle management, contracting, and sourcing governance.
- Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to influence senior-level sourcing and business decisions.
Compensation & Benefits: Lucid offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; paid time off; paid holidays, paid sick leave; and a 401(k) retirement plan. Hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off. Eligible employees may also participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual cash incentive program. Incentive and equity awards, if applicable, are determined based on individual performance, role scope, market considerations, and overall company results, in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
