TEiC is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our purchasing and procurement operations supporting industrial construction, maintenance, outage, and field services projects across North America.
This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for developing and guiding procurement strategy, supporting field operations, strengthening supplier partnerships, and leading purchasing personnel across both office and field environments. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen, construction industry experience, and a passion for building high-performing teams and processes.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop TEiC's purchasing organization, supporting both corporate and field procurement personnel.
- Provide strategic guidance on supplier and subcontractor selection to ensure quality, compliance, and operational success.
- Oversee supplier relationships, negotiations, and commercial agreements to achieve the best value for the business.
- Partner closely with Operations, Project Management, Finance, and Field Leadership to support project execution and customer commitments.
- Drive procurement process improvements, best practices, and operational efficiencies across the organization.
- Lead negotiations related to pricing, commercial terms, contract conditions, supplier performance, and claims resolution.
- Monitor supplier performance, market changes, and supply chain risks while implementing mitigation strategies.
- Support inventory and procurement planning to optimize cost, availability, and project readiness.
- Ensure procurement activities align with company policies, quality standards, and customer requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced business education is a plus.
- 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or related leadership experience with an additional 3 years of people leadership experience.
- Construction, industrial services, power generation, manufacturing, or related industry experience required.
- Demonstrated success leading supplier negotiations and managing commercial relationships.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
