What you will be doing:

Vertex’s Regulatory Affairs Summer Internship offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced regulatory environment. Interns will support regulatory submissions, analyse global guidelines, and collaborate across departments to help bring transformative medicines to patients. This internship is designed to build foundational knowledge in regulatory science and develop key professional competencies.

During your Summer Internship you will get the opportunity to learn about our industry from a hands-on perspective. You will be working closely with and learning from some of the brightest people in the industry.  Interns can expect to be challenged by their work, connect with other students, and feel valued by the Vertex community.

What you will need to succeed: 

• Currently/recently enrolled in scientific or medical degree programme
• Strong interest in Regulatory Affairs
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, with the capabilities to provide a level of regulatory leadership in cross-functional teams
• Demonstrates problem solving and interpersonal skills through effective interactions with team members
• Good written, communication, project management and presentation skills
• You must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship
