This is an 11-week paid learning experience where you’ll do real work, not busywork. You’ll build relationships with other interns and leaders across the company, and you’ll be paired with mentors who will challenge you to grow skills that matter. What It's Like

 Our team supports frontline facing customer agents, the team that communicates directly with customers. We build applications to sell to, service and support our T-Mobile users.

What You'll Do

You'll have a variety of opportunities to create voice, chat and other customer care applications to support our front-line teams. These have a real impact on customers, resolving their issues quickly and correctly. The role involves designing, implementing, and testing software components using technologies such as virtualization, microservices, software-defined networking, network functions virtualization, and big data platforms

 

Key Responsibilities

• Application Testing and Application Deployment

• Develop and implement software solutions to meet customer requirements and support scalable, highly available environments

• Maintain clear and accurate documentation for software code, system designs, and business requirements

• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver software solutions and communicate technical ideas effectively

• Contribute to the understanding and application of current and emerging technologies to support business goals

• Identify and share ideas for system analysis and continuous improvement of existing processes and service

What It Takes

Our environment is very dynamic, we move quickly and work on many different things so looking for new members to be adaptable and work well in collaboration with others.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future
• Must have one or more course(s) remaining in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program post internship
• Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for external Summer Internships, please see Magenta Accelerator if interested
   

Relocation assistance will be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.

Intern wages range from $27/hour to $50/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on education/STEM vs non-STEM designation.
