Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic manufacturing Manager to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP solutions for clients. This role requires deep expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and/or Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PPDS), combined with proven leadership capabilities. As a manager, you will oversee project delivery, manage consulting teams, engage with client stakeholders, and contribute to business development efforts.
The role also requires the ability to identify and shape opportunities to apply Generative AI, Agentic AI, automation, and intelligent decision-making across manufacturing processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
As a part of the Manufacturing Reinvention team, you will be expected to collaborate with clients in high-tech manufacturing to assess, design, and optimize core business processes leveraging ERP platforms, including value assessment, business case creation, and business process re-engineering.
Lead and manage the full lifecycle of SAP PP, QM, and/or PPDS implementations, including blueprinting, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Provide expert consulting and advisory services to clients on optimizing their production planning, quality management, and detailed scheduling processes using SAP.
Provide subject matter expertise on complex, end-to-end requests for proposals (RFPs) in high-tech production and supply chain contexts.
Engage with clients to understand their requirements and scope, discover and define solutions, articulate business benefits and use cases, and develop a roadmap to achieve their objectives
Support our business development initiatives, collaborating with our teams in proposal generation, shaping the solution plan, and defining the delivery approach for SAP transformations
Collaborate with technical teams for custom developments, integrations, and data migration activities.
Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering a knowledge-sharing environment.
Stay updated with the latest SAP advancements and best practices in production planning and supply chain.
Identify and shape GenAI and Agentic AI use cases across manufacturing, including intelligent production planning, exception management, quality insights, root-cause analysis, maintenance coordination, and autonomous workflow execution.
Assess opportunities to leverage AI agents and intelligent automation to monitor manufacturing events, identify exceptions, recommend actions, and orchestrate workflows across SAP and connected systems.
Must have skills: Extensive expertise in leading complex SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing transformations with clients complemented with implementations/hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) / Quality Management (QM), and Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS)
Advanced level of English
Availability to travel may be required.
Good to have skills: SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing, Production Planning (PP) Certification is an added advantage along with knowledge of Quality Management (QM), and Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS).
Experience: 10+ years of SAP experience, at least 2–3 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation programs involving PP, QM, and/or embedded PP/DS.
Demonstrated experience combining hands-on SAP expertise with client-facing consulting, solutioning, team leadership, and transformation delivery.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. SAP certifications in PP, QM, P
Professional & Technical Skills:
Guide clients on the implementation and optimization of SAP PP, QM, and PPDS processes, grounded in best-in-class manufacturing practices.
Design, configure, and implement SAP PP, QM, and/or PPDS solutions aligned with client needs and industry best practices.
Expertise in discrete manufacturing, integration with PLM or MES, engineering change management for BOM, routing and a clear understanding of the MRP concepts.
Experience working on integration with QM, in-process inspection, notification, first article inspection (FAI), QM certificate, FMEA (8D defect management).
Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
Provide training and support for business users.
Contribute to thought leadership initiatives through S/4HANA, AI-enabled manufacturing, white papers and case studies, and conference presentations, spotlighting high-tech manufacturing innovation.
