THE WORK:

• Join our Strategy practice as part of Industry Strategy – Software & Platforms team and play a key role in shaping the future of leading organizations.

• Partner with global software and platform clients to design and implement strategic initiatives across product growth, operations, and platform services.

• Support end-to-end business reinvention projects, identifying opportunities to streamline operations, optimize costs, and transform client operating models.

• Develop and apply your understanding of software industry trends, translating what is happening in the market into relevant implications for client engagements

• Help clients identify, assess, and implement AI-driven solutions (including agentic workflows and automated reporting) to optimize internal business processes and increase productivity.

• Support advisory projects focused on digital marketplaces, trust & safety operations, product-led growth, or go-to-market (GTM) strategy.

• Lead workstreams on complex projects from initial diagnostic through to strategic design and implementation roadmap planning.

• Contribute to the creation of client proposals, offering documents, points of view (POVs), and other strategic materials.

• Develop trusted relationships with clients by delivering value, sharing industry expertise, and identifying opportunities for additional business impact.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, economics, engineering, or a related field.

•  4+ years of professional experience within:
  - Strategy consulting environment (e.g. strategy consulting firm or in-house strategy unit) and/ or
  - Software & platforms companies (e.g. SaaS, cloud providers, marketplaces, and social media platforms)

• AI & Digital fluency: Hands-on experience or familiarity with Generative AI tools, data modeling, prompt engineering, or agentic workflows. Ability to connect industry trends to client challenges and contribute meaningfully to strategic discussions

• Platform Industry Knowledge: General familiarity with the software-as-a-service (SaaS) landscape, digital marketplaces, or platform operations

• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to collect, transform, and interpret complex data to derive strategic insights and tackle business problems effectively.

• Communication & Workshop Facilitation: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to facilitate client workshops, interviews, and group discussions.

• Client Engagement & Influence: Ability to operate in ambiguous environments, bringing structure and clear thinking to support stakeholder alignment; experience working with senior client teams to understand problems, co-create solutions, and support cross-functional change

• Awareness of partner and developer ecosystem dynamics, and how co-sell, marketplace, and ecosystem strategies are changing how software businesses grow and distribute

• Language Skills: Fluency in written and spoken English is required; additionally, German, French, Spanish, or another European language is a strong asset.

• Mobility: Willingness and ability to work at client locations across Europe and other locations for short or long-term travel as required by project needs.
