Über diese Strategic Client Manager Stelle bei Flock
About Flock
Road accidents kill and injure people, damage vehicles, and cost businesses fortunes. But traditional insurance does nothing to prevent them - it just pays out claims when they happen. At Flock, we’re changing that. Using telematics, AI, and real-time data, we proactively help our fleet customers prevent crashes. We obsessively focus on keeping drivers safe, and we put our money where our mouth is - paying out millions of pounds per year to fleets that get safer over time.
We were acquired by Admiral in May 2026. Now we combine the backing of the UK’s leading motor insurer with startup energy and speed. We’re growing fast with bigger plans than ever, and we’re hugely optimistic that our approach will save many more lives in the decade ahead.
We’re on a mission to make the world quantifiably safer. Join us!
About the role
Our largest fleet clients are hugely important to Flock: they have more vehicles, more data and more opportunity to benefit from everything our connected proposition can offer, and we want to give them an even better experience as we grow. We’re looking for a Strategic Client Manager to become the primary face of Flock for our largest customers, owning the relationship and making sure they get the very best from us.
Nearly all of our business comes through brokers, and that remains central to how we work: you’ll sit at the heart of the client, broker and Flock relationship, working closely with our Broker Development Managers and teams across the business to deliver a brilliant joined-up service. You’ll report to our Head of Distribution, and use AI day to day to prepare for meetings, understand accounts, manage client queries and improve reporting, freeing up more time for relationships and problem-solving.
You’ll have the opportunity to build our corporate client management approach from the ground up: shaping account reviews and performance reporting, bringing together claims, safety, underwriting and finance for our biggest clients, and taking real ownership when something needs to get done. Success is simple: our clients stay with us, get more value from Flock and recommend us to others.
What you’ll be doing
Own the relationship with a portfolio of Flock’s largest fleet clients, becoming their primary point of contact and developing a strong understanding of their business.
Build and run our corporate account management approach: client reviews, reporting, relationship cadence and account planning.
Work closely with brokers and our Broker Development Managers to deliver a coordinated experience for every client.
Bring together teams across Flock, including claims, safety, underwriting and finance, to resolve client questions and issues quickly, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organisations.
Identify retention risks early and create clear plans to protect our most important accounts.
Support the commercial management of the smaller number of corporate clients that work with Flock directly.
Help shape and improve Flock’s wider client service proposition, including account reviews, portal engagement, safety support, claims and reporting, feeding client feedback back into the business.
Use AI in your day-to-day work, from account research and meeting preparation to query management, meeting summaries and client reporting.
What you’ll need
Strong experience within the insurance industry, with a clear understanding of the broker–client–insurer dynamic and the judgement to know where you add value, without duplicating the broker’s role, creating confusion or adding unnecessary layers for the client.
Experience in a client-facing role such as insurer account or deal management, broker account management, claims relationship management or a similar position.
A proven track record of managing important client relationships and delivering strong retention or customer satisfaction, with the confidence to work with senior stakeholders across clients, brokers and internal teams.
Strong commercial judgement. You can identify when an account is at risk, understand what matters to the client and build a plan to retain them.
The ability to work effectively within a broker-led relationship, knowing when to lead, when to support the broker and when to bring in specialist colleagues.
Energy and ownership: comfortable picking up a problem and driving it through to a solution, and confident using AI in your daily work to work faster and deliver a better client experience.
Preferable: experience with large, complex or multi-site corporate clients, Commercial Motor Fleet or fleet risk and safety experience, or exposure to the claims process or to building an account management or client service proposition.

Making the world quantifiably safer takes more than good data. It takes a team where different perspectives are heard, and that’s a priority here. We insure fleets and drivers from every background, and we know a team built the same way makes sharper decisions and a better product for our customers. So we hire on merit, full stop, and we actively encourage applications from everyone. If you don’t tick every box, apply anyway. Just come as your genuine self: the qualities and experiences only you bring are exactly what we want.
