Corpay is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our Asia Desk team, responsible for managing and growing relationships with our top 50 Asia Desk clients.
This is a key relationship-focused role, centered on delivering an exceptional client experience, strengthening long-term partnerships, and identifying opportunities to deepen and expand existing client relationships.
In this role, you’ll work closely with your manager and internal teams to develop and maintain strong, strategic relationships across a portfolio of high-value Asia Desk clients. You’ll take a proactive approach to client engagement, building regular touchpoints, coordinating relationship-building activities, and ensuring clients have access to relevant market updates, insights and Corpay resources.
You’ll develop a deep understanding of each client’s business and FX requirements, proactively identify opportunities to support their evolving needs, and ensure our highest-value clients remain well supported, informed and connected to Corpay.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Manage and nurture a portfolio of Corpay’s top 50 New Business Clients (Asia Desk), building strong and trusted relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring they receive a consistently high level of service and support.
- Proactively organise regular client catch-ups to understand client needs, review their experience with Corpay, and identify opportunities to further support their business.
- Develop and maintain structured engagement plans for top 50 Asia Desk clients, ensuring consistent communication and meaningful relationship touchpoints.
- Monitor client engagement, satisfaction, activity and overall relationship health, proactively addressing issues or opportunities as they arise.
- Support the ongoing retention and development of existing client relationships by delivering a proactive and personalised client experience.
Client Engagement & Events
- Coordinate and facilitate off-site client catch-ups and relationship-building activities for priority clients.
- Work closely with Marketing to identify and provide lists of eligible clients for relevant Corpay client events and initiatives.
- Ensure clients have timely access to relevant market updates, FX insights, research and educational content to support their decision-making.
- Communicate relevant Corpay products, services, market insights and resources to clients based on their individual needs and circumstances.
Internal Collaboration & Account Management
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are communicated effectively and followed through to resolution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, engagement activity, notes and relevant account administration.
- Monitor relevant client and portfolio KPIs, providing regular updates to management on engagement, retention, activity and relationship performance.
- Contribute to initiatives that enhance the overall client experience and strengthen Corpay’s relationships with its key clients.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience & Financial Markets Knowledge
- Proficient in Mandarin and English.
- Proven experience in financial markets, with an understanding of FX hedging principles or a strong willingness to develop expertise in FX and currency risk management.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce.com) preferred.
- Demonstrated sales confidence during the interview process.
- Ability to work effectively in a metrics and KPI-driven reporting environment.
Communication & Relationship Skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong sense of professionalism.
- Confidence to liaise with Directors and C-Level Executives of large corporations.
- Tenacity, resilience and a positive outlook.
