The Stationary Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of building systems and equipment within a high-rise commercial office property. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and reliable performance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems while supporting tenant comfort and building operations.

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday | 8am - 4:30pm
Payrate: $76.50 hourly rate | Weekly pay

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and building automation systems.
Perform routine inspections of building equipment and systems to identify and address operational issues.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, including pumps, motors, air handling units, VAV systems, and related components.
Monitor building automation systems (BAS) and respond to alarms and system abnormalities.
Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on critical building infrastructure.
Maintain central plant equipment, including chillers, cooling towers, boilers, and associated systems.
Respond to tenant service requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
Assist with emergency response procedures and support building life safety programs.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors performing maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection reports, and equipment records.
Ensure compliance with all safety policies, environmental regulations, and building operating procedures.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience operating and maintaining commercial building systems.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems within large commercial facilities.
Experience with building automation systems and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
