Job Description Summary

As the Sr. Transaction Manager, you will oversee transaction management delivery for complex real estate portfolios, ensuring transactions are executed from initiation through completion with strong financial discipline, stakeholder coordination, and service quality. This role provides portfolio-level transaction oversight, strategic planning support, process leadership, and guidance to transaction team members while helping clients achieve their real estate objectives.
As a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Portfolio Advisory Group, the Sr. Transaction Manager will be dedicated to one or more of Cushman & Wakefield’s most dynamic client accounts. In this role, you will collaborate closely with peers and the account team to support a client's strategic real estate vision. Job Description

Portfolio Execution & Transaction Oversight

• Lead transaction service delivery across assigned client portfolios, ensuring alignment with client goals, account priorities, and real estate objectives.
• Collaborate with internal and external brokerage professionals to develop transaction strategies and ensure effective negotiation of business terms for renewals, acquisitions, dispositions, lease restructures, and other owned and leased real estate transactions.
• Lead negotiation of Letters of Intent (LOIs), lease agreements, amendments, and other transaction documents in collaboration with brokerage professionals, legal partners, and client stakeholders.
• Manage field broker selection processes and coordinate transaction teams to align resources with client needs.
• Determine client requirements, communicate project parameters, coordinate legal review activities, resolve transaction-related issues, and support client site visits and market tours.

Strategic Planning & Portfolio Advisory

• Lead development of strategic real estate plans and provide transaction-informed advisory support to clients.
• Identify occupancy cost savings opportunities and support expansion, contraction, renewal, relocation, disposition, and portfolio optimization strategies.
• Produce and support business case development, including reports, data, financial analyses, action plans, occupancy cost savings, and value-add analyses.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with client stakeholders, internal contributors, brokerage professionals, portfolio administration, and account partners to support transaction and portfolio outcomes.
• Present transaction activity to client and C&W management and participate in client/C&W business reviews.
• Lead and facilitate client meetings to align stakeholders, communicate progress, and advance transaction decisions.

Financial, Budgeting & Performance Management

• Prepare, review, interpret, and apply financial analysis and accounting concepts to support transaction strategies and client recommendations.
• Manage budgeting activities, client rebate accounts, and transaction revenue tracking.
• Ensure accuracy of financial data, transaction reports, client materials, and performance-related deliverables.

Process Management, Technology & AI Enablement

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve standardized processes, account playbooks, standard forms, procedures, and performance measurements.
• Manage key documentation, client communications, reporting workflows, and transaction governance practices to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Leverage AI-enabled and technology-driven solutions to improve transaction execution, reporting quality, analysis, workflow efficiency, and client outcomes.

Team Guidance & Quality Control

• Provide supervision and guidance for transaction team members and other team members supporting transaction activity for the client relationship.
• Collaborate with portfolio administration teams to support data accuracy and consistent transaction reporting.
• Ensure applicable state real estate standards and account-level transaction requirements are met.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 106,250.00 - $125,000.00
