As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will exhibit expert-level skills in requirements engineering, systems integration, Verification & Validation (V&V), and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). You will oversee and lead complex system and decision analysis, technical planning, and risk management activities. You will be responsible for major project deliverables, leveraging deep knowledge in architecture/design development, technical monitoring, and lifecycle management. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are vital as you influence project direction, mentor team members, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Exhibit expert-level skills in requirements engineering, systems integration, V&V, and MBSE.
• Advance and manage a large FAA Part 25 aircraft digital system model in Cameo (No Magic) in alignment with: program guidance and goals, industry standards, other program digital models, and various sources of design definition and data.
• Leverage deep knowledge in architecture/design development, technical monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Provide strong leadership and effective communication across different engineering disciplines and different work locations
• Mentor and guide team members.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Fundamental understanding of FAA Part 25 aircraft systems
• Expert proficiency with Systems modeling and simulation tools.
• Proven leadership experience in systems engineering.
• Demonstrated knowledge of multiple Engineering principles and practices, system design and system integration
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
• Intermediate understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, allocation; V&V principles; technical risk identification and management strategies.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Advanced Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools, such as DOORS, Cameo, MATLAB.
• Knowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles, to include, but not limited to, requirements management, MBSE.
• Experience or certification in International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) standards [Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)].
• Experience with Boeing 747-8 or other large commercial, widebody, or FAA Part 25 commercial-derived military aircraft.
• Experience leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting.
• Familiar with aircraft ground and flight testing.
• Experience in creating project-specific digital system model guidance
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Agile Methodologies and Tools such as JIRA.

• Hand/finger dexterity for system modeling and documentation.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional travel.
