Business Unit Overview

This position is part of the ATI Industrial Automation business unit within Novanta.  ATI is the world-leading engineering-based developer of robotic accessories and robot arm tooling, including Automatic Tool Changers, Multi-Axis Force/Torque Sensing Systems, Utility Couplers, Material Removal Tools, Robotic Collision Sensors, Manual Tool Changers, and Compliance Devices. Our robot end-effector products are found in thousands of successful applications around the world. Since 1989, our team of mechanical, electrical, and software engineers has been developing cost-effective, state-of-the-art end-effector products and solutions that improve robotic productivity.

Summary

As an Sales Support Specialist, your main responsibility is to ensure accurate and timely order entry. This includes accessing customer orders via email and customer portals and keying them into the ERP system with a high attention to detail.

Your Responsibilities

• Handling a broad range of customer inquiries via multiple channels in a timely, professional manner.

• Entering and maintaining accurate customer purchase orders using various software applications, mainly SAP R/3, SAP S/4HANA.

• Resolving a broad spectrum of customer complaints and issues with empathy and understanding.

• Providing full sales support, such as product, pricing, and service information to customers.

• Collaborating cross-functionally to provide accurate and timely information to customers.
• Updating supervisors and other internal parties regarding assigned tasks.
• Working with shipping terminology and methods.
• Creating credit memo’s/miscellaneous invoices.
• Paying attention to details to meet SOX compliance regulations.
• Meet and maintain order accuracy goals, order processing time.

Your Experience, Skills, and Competencies

• Prior customer support experience. B2B experience is required.

• Experience with order entry and processing orders.

• Experience with SAP required. SAP S/4HANA is a big advantage.

• Fluent English speaking skills

• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Be able to work well with others in a busy and dynamic team environment.

• Be able to prioritize and multitask effectively while being detail-oriented and organized.

• Strong attention to detail

• emonstrate empathy and patience when dealing with customers.
