  • Serve as a primary escalation point for complex or high-priority procurement issues across divisional stakeholders.

Purchase Requests & Purchase Orders

  • Oversee end-to-end PR-to-PO lifecycle operations: intake, approval routing, validation, PO issuance, and closure; identify bottlenecks and drive cycle-time improvements.
  • Ensure PO accuracy, contract alignment, legal entity and currency correctness, and accounting treatment compliance.
  • Standardize and document procurement workflows and approval structures; drive consistency across divisions.
  • Review and validate purchase requisitions for completeness, policy alignment, and appropriate spend authorization before PO issuance.

Change Orders & Vendor Governance

  • Administer change order processes, including documentation, pricing validation, budget impact review, and approval routing per established protocols.
  • Monitor change order volume, costs, and trends; surface escalation needs and improvement opportunities to the Director.
  • Support vendor lifecycle management activities, including onboarding, renewals, performance tracking, and offboarding.
  • Identify and help remediate unauthorized spend and policy exceptions.

AI & Automation

  • Support evaluation and deployment of AI-enabled tools and workflow automation solutions, partnering with IT and the Director to operationalize new capabilities.
  • Drive user adoption and change management for new procurement tools and platforms through training, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Identify manual process gaps and recommend automation opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Metrics & Continuous Improvement

  • Track and report on procurement KPIs including PR-to-PO cycle time, throughput, PO accuracy, CO rate, and policy compliance; deliver regular operational reporting to the Director.
  • Conduct root-cause analyses on performance gaps and lead corrective action plans.
  • Partner with the Director on benchmarking, process design, and strategic initiatives to improve scalability and stakeholder experience.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of progressive procurement, procure-to-pay, finance operations, or supply chain experience; 2+ years in a management or team lead role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing PR, PO, and CO workflows in enterprise or high-growth environments.
  • Track record of process improvement, operational standardization, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience supporting governance, internal controls, compliance, and audit-readiness frameworks.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain, or related field.

Preferred

  • Proficiency with Zip (procure-to-pay), JD Edwards, ServiceNow, Metaviewer, or equivalent platforms.
  • Experience with procurement transformation or automation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with SOX-controlled or public-company environments.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled procurement technologies and P2P automation strategies.
