The Team & Role:
Logitech G is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our electrical engineering team in Hsinchu. Dedicated exclusively to the Logitech G gaming brand, this leadership role focuses on the end-to-end design, architecture, and delivery of high-performance gaming peripherals, including mechanical keyboards, precision mice, steering wheels, and controllers. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in consumer electronics with a proven ability to lead high-performing, multicultural engineering teams.

Your Contribution:

• Engineering Leadership & Talent Development: Manage, mentor, and elevate a team of senior electrical engineers, conducting performance reviews, promoting professional development, and hiring top-tier technical talent to sustain high engineering standards.
• Technical Architecture & Strategy: Define the comprehensive electrical engineering architecture for Logitech G gaming products, ensuring alignment with user experience goals, cost constraints, aggressive project schedules, and sustainability standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Program Execution: Partner closely with senior management, product managers, project managers, and worldwide multi-cultural teams to drive technical feasibility evaluations, risk identification, mitigation strategies, and system integration.
• Resource Management: Work in partnership with senior management to plan and allocate engineering resources effectively across multiple concurrent projects.
• Process Enhancement: Help develop, promote, and refine engineering best practices, design review frameworks, and standardized processes.
• Operational Oversight: Eliminate technical roadblocks, support team members during peak development cycles, and maintain early and transparent communication regarding issues impacting project trajectories.
  

Key Qualifications:

• Education & Experience: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent discipline, paired with 10+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Industry Background: Experience within the consumer electronics sector, including work in IoT, embedded systems, or cellular platforms. Direct experience with ARM-based platforms and a background in gaming hardware development are distinct advantages.
• Core Technical Competencies: Advanced PCBA and electrical design capabilities (from DC to UHF). Expertise in RF, wireless systems and antenna design (Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, and Wi-Fi) and WW certification. Deep knowledge of EMCs (ESD, EFT and EMI) design for compliance. Strong experience with battery management ICs, DC-DC regulators (step-up, step-down, LDO), and LED/display driving circuits. Proficiency in communication protocols and standards (USB, SPI, and I2C). Solid exposure to analog and digital cutting-edge electronics/sensors integration
• AI Integration & Automation: Proven mastery of the latest AI tools and trends for engineering test automation and hardware design, with a strong commitment to applying cutting-edge technology to optimize development cycles and design precision.
• Leadership & Soft Skills: Demonstrated track record of mentoring engineers, fostering collaboration, preventing silos, mediating disputes, and driving out-of-the-box thinking. Hands-on technical attitude with the capacity to dive deep into detailed designs.
• Operational Knowledge: Proven understanding of manufacturing site collaboration and scaling consumer hardware.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese, with the proven ability to articulate highly technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
