About This Role
The Sr. Director, Integrated Performance Insights & Forecasting will lead performance analytics, forecasting, and integrated insights for rare disease brands by leveraging specialty pharmacy, claims, EMR, CRM, and other data sources to understand market dynamics, therapy adoption, and brand performance. The position serves as a strategic partner to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, translating complex data and customer trends into actionable recommendations that optimize commercial execution, support forecast accuracy, and drive informed business decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Leadership Performance Insights
- Serve as a trusted analytics partner to senior leadership, finance, brand teams, field operations, data management, & market research.
- Present performance metrics to executive team and senior leaders in an accurate, clear, and impactful manner
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and alignment with business objectives
- Integrated Insights & Customer Analytics
- Lead brand reporting and hands-on analytics by translating large and complex datasets into actionable, integrated insights, using specialty pharmacy data, claims, EMR, CRM, and third-party sources.
- Analyze brand-level performance, market assessment, and forecast attainment, engagement strategies, and commercial initiatives; provide recommendations for optimization.
- Work closely with Commercial, Market Access, and Medical Affairs to provide a holistic view of the business.
- Forecasting
- Lead short-term & long-term forecasting process to reflect current business KPI performance, reporting, and assumptions using patient-based forecast methodologies
- Demonstrate knowledge of forecasting techniques and scenario modeling
- Experience utilizing specialty pharmacy data, patient-level claims, EMR & epidemiology data
- Rare Disease Market Understanding
- Understand the unique dynamics of rare disease markets, including small patient populations, diagnostic challenges, and specialized distribution models.
- Manage the forecast process, brand assumptions, patient funnel analysis, and therapy uptake patterns.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in rare disease or specialty markets
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics); advanced degree (MS, PhD, MBA) preferred
- 12+ years of experience in data analytics and forecasting within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Strong problem-solving abilities and business acumen, with a talent for communicating complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Deep expertise in healthcare data sources such as IQVIA, Komodo, specialty pharmacy distribution data, claims, EMR, and lab data
- Proficient in Excel, SQL, Python, and R, with strong skills in data visualization tools
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, data-driven environments and contributing to strategic initiatives across cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to lead analytics & forecasting projects as well as to manage and influence cross-functionally through complex demands.
Additional Information:
The base compensation range for this role is $260,000 - $280,000. Compensation is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
