Job Summary

Responsible for the design, development, implementation, integration, and support of scalable enterprise applications using Angular 20, .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework Core, Azure PaaS services, and Azure Cosmos DB.

Develop responsive web interfaces, secure REST APIs, reusable application components, and cloud-native services for the Kitting Quote platform. Participate in solution architecture and technical design, ensure application quality and security, and provide technical guidance to junior developers.

Major Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack enterprise applications using Angular, TypeScript, .NET Core, C#, and Entity Framework Core.
• Develop and maintain Angular standalone components, routing, reactive forms, services, lifecycle hooks, and reusable UI components.
• Build responsive and accessible user interfaces using Angular, Bootstrap 5, SCSS, RxJS, and AG Grid.
• Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable REST APIs using ASP.NET Core and C#.
• Integrate Angular applications with REST APIs and Swagger/OpenAPI-generated API clients.
• Implement business logic, data validation, exception handling, logging, caching, and asynchronous processing.
• Good understanding and experience working with Gen AI tool such as GitHub copilot
• Design and implement relational and NoSQL data solutions using Entity Framework Core, Azure SQL, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Apply appropriate Cosmos DB data-modeling, partitioning, indexing, and query-optimization practices.
  • Design and develop cloud-native solutions using Azure PaaS services, including Azure App Service,Azure Functions,Azure Service Bus,Azure API Management,Azure Key Vault,Azure Storage,Azure Monitor,Application Insights
• Develop reusable frontend components, backend services, utilities, and common application frameworks.
• Work with AG Grid for tabular data presentation, editing, filtering, validation, and custom cell rendering.
• Implement service-driven and reactive application workflows using Angular services, RxJS, and observables.
• Participate in application architecture, solution design, technical design reviews, and technology decisions.
• Apply object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, dependency injection, and clean-code practices.
• Develop unit and integration tests for frontend and backend application components.
• Troubleshoot application defects, API integration issues, database problems, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.
• Implement application security practices, including authentication, authorization, secure configuration, input validation, and protection of sensitive information.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards, security requirements, and project-specific conventions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, environment configuration, and application-release activities.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver solutions on schedule.
• Take ownership of assigned features from technical design through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities and communicate them to project stakeholders.
• Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and support knowledge-sharing and capability-development activities.
• Work effectively within an Agile development environment and participate in planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and other delivery activities.

Minimum Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Equivalent combination of relevant education and professional application-development experience may be considered.

Work Experience

• At least 10 years of professional software-development experience.
• Significant hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and Angular.
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs and distributed application services.
• Experience developing applications using Azure PaaS services.
• Experience designing and implementing data-access layers using Entity Framework Core.
• Experience working with relational databases and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Experience taking ownership of enterprise application features throughout the software-development lifecycle.
• Experience guiding or mentoring junior software developers.
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum delivery teams.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Full-Stack Development

• Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Angular 20, and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, dependency injection, design patterns, and clean architecture.
• Ability to design modular, reusable, secure, testable, and maintainable application components.
• Strong understanding of frontend-to-backend integration and end-to-end application workflows.

Frontend Development

• Strong knowledge of Angular architecture, standalone components, routing, guards, interceptors, reactive forms, services, and lifecycle hooks.
• Strong knowledge of RxJS, observables, reactive programming, and asynchronous UI workflows.
• Experience using Bootstrap 5, SCSS, HTML5, and responsive-design practices.
• Experience developing data-intensive enterprise interfaces using AG Grid.
• Understanding of accessibility, browser compatibility, client-side performance, and application usability.
• Ability to implement complex forms, validations, reusable controls, and stateful business workflows.

Backend and API Development

• Strong ability to design and develop REST APIs using ASP.NET Core and C#.
• Strong understanding of API versioning, validation, error handling, logging, authentication, authorization, and API documentation.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming, parallel processing, caching, resiliency patterns, and dependency management.
• Experience using Swagger/OpenAPI for API documentation and generated client integration.
• Understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven application patterns.

Database and Data Access

• Strong knowledge of Entity Framework Core, LINQ, database migrations, query optimization, and transaction management.
• Experience designing relational and NoSQL data models.
• Practical knowledge of Azure Cosmos DB containers, partition keys, indexing, consistency, throughput, and query-performance considerations.
• Ability to identify and resolve data-access and database-performance issues.

Microsoft Azure

• Hands-on knowledge of Azure PaaS application services.
• Experience developing and supporting applications using Azure App Service and Azure Functions.
• Experience implementing asynchronous integration using Azure Service Bus.
• Knowledge of API publishing, security, and policy management using Azure API Management.
• Experience securely managing application secrets and configuration using Azure Key Vault.
• Knowledge of Azure Storage services and cloud-based integration patterns.
• Experience with application logging, monitoring, telemetry, and troubleshooting using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Understanding of cloud scalability, availability, reliability, security, and cost-conscious application design.

Testing and Quality

• Ability to develop frontend unit tests using Jasmine and Karma or equivalent Angular testing frameworks.
• Ability to develop backend unit and integration tests using .NET testing frameworks.
• Experience with mocking, automated testing, API testing, and maintaining appropriate test coverage.
• Knowledge of static-code analysis and quality tools such as SonarQube.
• Ability to review code and provide practical, constructive technical feedback.

DevOps and Source Control

• Proficiency with Git-based source control.
• Understanding of branching, pull requests, code reviews, and release-management practices.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps or equivalent CI/CD platforms.
• Knowledge of automated build, testing, deployment, and environment-configuration processes.

Communication and Leadership

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business and functional requirements into appropriate technical solutions.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical designs, issues, risks, and recommendations.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to guide junior developers and promote development standards and reusable practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and take accountability for assigned deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing large-scale enterprise web applications.
• Experience with quoting, financial, ERP, healthcare, manufacturing, or supply-chain workflows.
• Experience with cloud-native and microservices-based application architecture.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and Azure messaging services.
• Familiarity with Docker, containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and automated cloud-resource provisioning.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications to Angular and .NET Core.
• Familiarity with Generative AI solutions and Azure AI services.
• Experience improving application performance, observability, availability, and production supportability.
