Who we’re looking for

Toyota's Accessories, Logistics and Packaging (ALP) team is seeking a Senior Analyst to lead sourcing, pricing, contracting, and supplier management activities supporting warehousing, packaging, service-parts distribution, and third-party logistics (3PL) operations.

Reporting to the Packaging & Logistics Manager, this role owns an assigned supplier portfolio and drives commercial activities from sourcing strategy and negotiation through implementation, governance, and ongoing supplier management.

Success requires strong analytical, financial, negotiation, and project leadership skills, with the ability to independently manage complex cross-functional initiatives and drive accountability across stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

  • Develop sourcing strategies and lead RFQs/RFPs from requirements development through supplier evaluation, negotiation, approval, and award recommendation. Evaluate supplier capabilities, support onboarding and development, and identify opportunities for competitive bidding, supplier consolidation, process improvement, and cost reduction.
  • Partner with Operations to validate assumptions related to volume, staffing, productivity, equipment, operating schedules, service levels, and supplier proposals. Manage supplier relationships, performance issues, pricing disputes, contractual compliance, and escalation activities.

Pricing, Cost Analysis & Commercial Management

  • Lead annual pricing reviews and rate-adjustment processes, establishing submission requirements, benchmarking methodologies, approval expectations, and implementation plans. Analyze labor costs, benefits, overhead, equipment, staffing, utilization, productivity, markups, unit costs, and total spend using supplier data, operational requirements, financial models, and contract terms.
  • Benchmark supplier pricing using labor-market and economic data and negotiate competitive, sustainable pricing aligned with operational requirements and market conditions.

Contract, Change & Compliance Management

  • Coordinate statements of work, pricing exhibits, amendments, service agreements, and related contracts by providing approved scope, business terms, pricing, assumptions, and supporting documentation to Contracts and stakeholders. Ensure negotiated terms are accurately reflected in final agreements and drive timely review, approval, and execution.
  • Manage change-control processes affecting scope, staffing, equipment, facility requirements, volumes, productivity, or schedules, including assessment of commercial impacts and approval requirements.
  • Review applicable contracts, statements of work, amendments, pricing exhibits, and rate sheets to validate invoice rates and charges. Coordinate with business units, suppliers, Accounting, and other stakeholders to resolve commercial pricing discrepancies and confirm that agreed corrections are implemented.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Business Support

  • Own sourcing, pricing, contracting, and commercial projects from initiation through implementation and closeout by managing objectives, schedules, deliverables, approvals, risks, stakeholder responsibilities, and escalation paths. Lead collaboration across Operations, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Risk Management, Real Estate, Asset Management, and suppliers while maintaining appropriate project documentation and decision records.
  • Support warehouse and facility-related initiatives including lease renewals, facility transitions, supplier-operated facilities, start-up costs, capital investments, and tenant improvements. Develop business cases, financial analyses, sourcing recommendations, funding requests, and executive presentations that evaluate alternatives based on cost, risk, operational requirements, implementation timing, and business continuity.

This position is located in Plano, TX.

What you bring

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, supply chain, supplier management, contract administration, commercial operations, or financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex commercial processes, develop cost models, analyze supplier pricing, negotiate business terms, and drive implementation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, project management, and stakeholder influence skills, including executive-level communication and presentation capabilities.
