• Data Analysis & Modeling:
o Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to the needs of the legal department.
o Design and implement data models that integrate legal data sources and support complex reporting requirements.
o Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various legal and compliance systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Report & Dashboard Development:
o Create interactive and visually effective reports and dashboards that highlight key legal metrics and performance indicators.
o Use DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for advanced calculations and data analysis relevant to legal operations.
o Optimize report performance to handle large datasets and ensure timely data retrieval.
• Collaboration & Requirements Gathering:
o Collaborate with legal professionals and stakeholders to understand their data needs and reporting requirements.
o Translate legal and compliance requirements into technical specifications for Power BI solutions.
o Provide recommendations on data visualization best practices and reporting improvements.
• Support & Maintenance:
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards specific to legal data.
o Perform regular updates and maintenance to ensure that legal reports and dashboards remain accurate and relevant.
o Utilize PowerApps, Power Automate, VBA Scripting to build tooling and applications and provide support to the Legal Tech Ops organization.
o Utilize A.I. tools.
• Documentation & Training:
o Document data sources, report designs, and reporting standards specific to legal operations.
o Train legal team members on Power BI functionalities and best practices for utilizing reports and dashboards effectively.
