Spare Parts Specialist is focusing on sales of spare parts for Paper, Pulp and Energy, evaporators and environmental systems in pulp & paper mills and power plants in India as part of AP PEC Parts and CS.

He/She is working together with sales team to identify and affect customer needs, making technical specifications, quotations, and coordinating deliveries to customers in India.

Job Description

• Report to Performance Part Manager

• Active on product sales and promotion together with sales team

• Make technical specifications and quotations to customers

• Negotiate prices and close deals with customers together with sales team

• Handle purchase orders and follow up order status.

• Keep up contacts with Valmet overseas technology and manufacturing units

• Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or Process engineering

•  5+ years’ experience working with boiler or  pulp & Paper mill technologies

• Familiar with boiler or pulp & Paper mill components, equipment’s and accessories

• Good ability on technical specific vocabulary / technical language skills.

• Ability to provide technical information, clarification and advice.

• Understanding on Incoterms and payment terms

• Good oral and written English

• Proficient in MS office, skills in Lotus, Baan and SAP are appreciated

• Service minded and mature with good team playing and organizing skills
