Position Summary:
Cambium Spa at Schweitzer is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-driven Spa Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our spa and wellness center. Located in a serene mountain setting, our spa provides world-class treatments to guests seeking relaxation and renewal after a day on the slopes. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and capable of creating seamless and memorable guest experiences from the moment of arrival.
Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally as they arrive at the spa.
- Manage spa appointment bookings, confirmations, and modifications using our scheduling system.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries with accurate information about services, availability, and promotions.
- Check guests in and out for treatments, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records for services, gratuities, and retail purchases.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on spa treatments and retail products.
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the front desk and lobby area.
- Communicate effectively with spa therapists and management to ensure schedule coordination and guest satisfaction.
- Support in inventory tracking, retail merchandising, and light administrative tasks.
- Ensure all guests feel welcomed, relaxed, and well cared for throughout their spa experience.
Specific Job Skills:
License/Certifications- CPR AED First Aid
Technical- Basic computer, smart phone and applications understanding helpful but not necessary.
Physical Capabilities- On feet for up to 8 hours a day. Bending over, lifting up top 25lbs, walking stairs, navigating from parking to spa during all weather and seasons.
Additional- Hours and days can be dynamic. Though we try to keep our schedules as consistent as possible, some of our times during the lighter seasons will vary.
Education/Related Experience:
Minimum education required- High School/GED
Minimum time in related position- 2 years experience in a guest service position a plus
