What this job involves:

As a Sourcing Project Manager at JLL, you'll be the driving force behind strategic sourcing initiatives that shape how we deliver value to our clients and stakeholders. This role requires you to plan, execute, and oversee sourcing projects from inception to completion, ensuring every milestone is met on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage client relationships as the primary point of contact, and navigate complex procurement landscapes with analytical precision. You'll leverage enterprise systems like Oracle E1 to track project lifecycles end-to-end, from supplier onboarding through program fee invoicing, while using advanced data analytics to uncover trends, generate forecasts, and provide actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. What your day-to-day will look like:

• Plan and define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines while developing detailed work plans that identify necessary resources, dependencies, and critical paths
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams by assigning tasks, establishing priorities, and facilitating collaboration across different departments and functional areas
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external clients, managing expectations, providing regular updates, and resolving issues to maintain high satisfaction levels
• Monitor project budgets, supplier schedules, corporate presentations, and timelines to ensure commitments are met and projects remain on track
• Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks by developing contingency plans that keep projects moving forward despite challenges
• Communicate project progress regularly to stakeholders, sponsors, and senior leadership through status reports, dashboards, and executive presentations
• Utilize Oracle E1 (JD Edwards EnterpriseOne) to query project information, generate reports, and track end-to-end transactions from supplier onboarding through program fee invoicing
• Conduct advanced data analysis using relational databases and Excel to identify supplier trends, uncover opportunities, develop forecasts, and generate insights that support strategic decision-making
• Facilitate key project meetings including kick-offs, weekly follow-ups, quarterly business reviews, deliverable assessments, and lessons-learned sessions to maintain momentum and alignment

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Technology, or related field
• 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably managing procurement or sourcing projects
• Proven experience managing internal and external client relationships with strong service orientation and stakeholder management capabilities
• Working knowledge of Oracle E1 (JD Edwards EnterpriseOne) including module navigation, queries, and report generation
• Proficiency with relational databases including SQL, complex queries, joins, and data aggregations for extraction and analysis
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, complex formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, nested IF statements), macros, and analysis of large data volumes
• Experience with project management and business intelligence tools for planning, tracking, and reporting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving orientation with ability to simplify complex processes and make data-driven decisions

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies based on business needs
• English proficiency at 80% or higher for effective communication in global contexts
• Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to influence without direct authority and navigate organizational dynamics
• Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects under pressure while maintaining quality and attention to detail
• Strong negotiation and conflict management capabilities with vendors and cross-functional stakeholders
• Adaptability and change management experience in dynamic business environments with shifting priorities
