Main purpose of the job / Mission:

• Support product such as FSS(Oil,Methanol,Ammonia,LNG), HSS supply development

• Responsible for COGS Savings and local supplier cost updated

• Support E&S SHA sourcing and localization needs as well as strategies, enhance the product(HSS and FSS)competitiveness related to COGS, Quality and LT

Key tasks:

• Sourcing strategy execution and drive supplier relationship

• Drive and lead supplier optimization for E&M Asia supply chain

• Responsible to develop negotiation plans and the commercial results of suppliers

• Accountable to take a leadership role secure supply of material for the BU/PG in case of constraint situation incl. capacity, quality or delivery issues.

• Closely monitor the supplier performance including the external and internal suppliers

• Initiate and Drive actions to mitigate the loss due to the supply chain issues regarding Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost

• Report any deviations regarding Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost to supplier

• Analyze supplier performance according to the Follow Up Process

• Work with supply development process, act and behave in accordance with Alfa Laval Business Principles.

• Competitors survey-investigation, cost analysis

• Pure purchasing support for other BUs

Competencies, experience and attitudes to do the job:
Knowledge: 

• Bachelor degree, working in manufacturing industry is a plus

• Workshop development, feasibility study experience is a plus

• Knowledge of Marine Market and Marine Equipment is a plus

• With certain economic and legal knowledge, AI tools

Skills: 

• 5+ years sourcing or relevant working experience 

• Experience in supplier development

• Problem solving and target oriented

• With good communication and negotiation skills

• Good knowledge with MS Office (excel, ppt, word) 

• Written and oral English fluently
