Role purpose
Build and maintain a comprehensive view of Canadian cultivators and available flower (all products) for Budbase’s global markets. Work with local teams to find products that meet their specifications, and keep supplier evaluations, commitments and purchase orders moving with strong organization and follow-through.

What we are looking for:

• Develop the supplier network: Identify and engage Canadian cultivators, including suppliers Budbase has not worked with before. Maintain a current view of their products, capacity, quality, availability and indicative pricing.

• Bring forward products: Work closely with Australia, UK and other market teams to understand product specifications and identify flower that fits. Coordinate samples, product information and quality documentation for evaluation.

• Own supplier follow-through: Keep a clear record of supplier conversations, opportunities, samples, decisions and next steps. Follow up consistently so promising products do not stall or get lost.

• Manage procurement execution: Convert approved demand plans and sourcing decisions into supplier-specific POs. Issue, amend and track POs with cultivators and EU GMP processing partners.

• Track delivery and risks: Confirm supply, testing, processing and shipment milestones. Flag changes, delays and gaps early, with the information needed to make a decision.

How the role works:
Market teams define product requirements and demand. Budbase makes supplier selection, pricing and commercial decisions. This role brings qualified supply options forward and manages the details and follow-through needed to turn those decisions into delivered product.

What success looks like:
Budbase has visibility into the Canadian supply base; strong product options reach the right market teams quickly; every supplier conversation has a recorded next step; and approved orders progress reliably from PO to delivery.

Virtual (travel across GTA, mileage, working evenings with Australia time), traveling 20%.
