Daikin Applied is seeking a Solutions Program Senior Manager who will be maximizing the strategic sales value of customer-facing programming at the Solutions Plaza experience center. This role will be responsible for delivering premium experiences that position Daikin as a premier solutions provider focused on industry trends such as electrification, refrigerant codes, and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). Under general direction you will lead programming marketing strategy to maximize the use of content delivered in this educational and entertainment space and beyond. You will develop and manage a supporting team of individual contributors responsible for representing the business and attend high level functions to achieve maximum industry impact. Location: Jersey City, NJ, Hybrid

What you will do: 

• Lead the development of a solutions sales strategy and operation plans and priorities for Solutions Plaza
• Develop and execute the strategy and framework for creating targeted rep and vertical market programs that accelerate the strategic utilization of the experience center
• Monitor the effectiveness of Daikin’s investment in the space by tracking bookings after customer visits
• Develop annual plans to expand the utilization by attracting local and national organizations that maximize brand visibility
• Serve as the lead presenter for all high-profile customer visits at Solutions Plaza and other high-visibility presentations at both internal and external events
• Lead a team of professionals that are dedicated to delivering an unrivaled customer experience thru well-executed events and personalized experiences, professional communications, and thought leadership presentations focused on industry trends such as electrification, refrigerant codes, and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)
• Develop the strategy to maximize the time and the customer experience within the space
• Oversee the team's interactions with the marketing team to manage physical displays and digital properties

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 8+ years industry sales experience; incl 2+ years people leadership experience
• Knowledge of HVAC design and industry trends, a deep understanding of Daikin products and solutions offering
• Superior analytical and communication skills-must be able to define problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions to efficiently communicate technical concepts to audiences of varying competency
• Self-Starter and Results-Oriented- Develop and implement strategy to transform the use of the space by engaging both the sales channel and industry professionals
• Leadership- Exhibits confidence in self and in others; Inspires and motivates others to perform well. Effectively influences actions and opinions of others.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience presenting to consulting engineers and executives, Knowledge and Expertise in applied manufacturing
• incl 5+ years people leadership experience
• Technical Excellence – Display a complete understanding of engineered systems, design intent, controls, equipment, and integration with 3rd party technology

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $136,600k - $232,900k and a bonus potential up to 20% in Jersey City, NJ. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
