Bailey Abbott now have an exciting opportunity for a Solution Architect to  join our Digital Transformation capability. Our Architect specialists work within an active community of practice, enabling you to benefit from their years of collective experience and wisdom.

Working as a Solution Architect you will get the opportunity to:

• Bring substantial experience designing and delivering technology solutions that support business objectives.
• Assess existing systems and develop future-state designs, implementation plans and technology roadmaps.
• Evaluate technology options and recommend practical solutions that balance cost, risk, scalability and business value.
• Demonstrate experience across business applications, enterprise platforms and complex technology environments.
• Design effective integration and data solutions that enable reliable information sharing and reporting.
• Apply sound architecture principles across cloud infrastructure, networking, identity, security and resilience.
• Maintain practical involvement throughout delivery, guiding teams and resolving technical challenges.
• Communicate requirements and architecture decisions clearly to technical teams, business stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Collaborate with vendors, project managers and delivery teams to manage dependencies and achieve agreed outcomes.
• Ensure solutions meet organisational standards, governance requirements and ongoing operational needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and delivering technology solutions that meet business needs and support long-term objectives.
• Strong technical knowledge across cloud platforms, business applications, infrastructure and system integration.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical solution designs and clear technical documentation.
• Experience assessing technology options and balancing security, scalability, operational needs and cost.
• Hands-on experience guiding delivery teams through implementation, resolving technical challenges and maintaining design quality.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging business stakeholders, senior leaders and technology vendors.
