Software Engineer (SE) position requires a motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive engineer with an excellent 'can do' attitude. As part of our software development team, the SE will be responsible for development and support of compliance products. SE will work with all the latest web development tools and technologies in a challenging and inspiring environment. SE will be responsible for assigned areas of the product and must ensure that individual and team deadlines are met. SE’s will also be responsible for the system's performance, stability, scalability and security. In this position as a SE, you will have to mentor, coach and motivate the team.

• Communicate directly with US technical, business and quality assurance team.

Value:

• Estimates, designs, codes and tests applications using .Net technologies  (C#)
• Estimate, design, code and test web applications.
• Create application design and document coding efforts.  
• Analyze diverse/complex business and technical problems and provide solutions.
• Timely completion of assignments, including verification with quality assurance team members.
• Troubleshooting and debugging technical problems using C# and SQL Server.
• Code automated unit and integration tests using NUnit framework.
• Involve in peer code review process.

Education and Experience:

BTECH, Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent work experience. At least four years of hands-on Silverlight, Microsoft SQL server, Any Microsoft certifications would be added advantage, .NET skillsets: Experience in ASP.NET, C#, IIS Administration, SQL Server.

Computer Sills:

• 4+ years with developing C#.
• 4+ years with SQL Server.
• Experience in writing custom controls and user controls in ASP.NET.
• Experience in any UI testing tools, such as Selenium, is preferred.
• Four year college degree or equivalent experience.
• Front-end experience (HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, LESS/CSS, Bootstrap).
• Solid experience with SQL stored procedures, CTEs, and C# System.Data.
• Experience using Git is preferred.
• Good analytical, root cause analysis, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented outlook is strongly encouraged.
• Experience in understanding release and deployment processes into production environment.
• Strong Experience in Object Oriented Design, Relational Database Design, and XML.
• Ability to collaborate and brainstorm with other developers in a team environment.
• Communication and coordination skills with off-shore development teams is preferred.
• Strong English communication skills – verbal and written.
• Experience with ActiveReports, EO.PDF, EasyQuery, and PowerShell are a bonus.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

• Standard indoor working environment.
• Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.
• Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm; interface with clients and external vendors as necessary.
• Independent travel requirement: 0 to 10%.
• 40+ hour standard workweek requirement.
