Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) is an identity-based access control policy platform that enables enterprises to enforce compliance, improve infrastructure security and streamline their service operations in any environment—wired, wireless or VPN. Its outstanding architecture allows enterprises to gather real time contextual information from network, users, and devices to make proactive governance decisions by tying identity back into various network elements including access switches, wireless controllers, VPN gateways, and data center switches. The identity services engine team is a group of high energy, customer focused engineers who bring diverse perspectives and experiences to bear on the toughest engineering challenges. The candidate will play a key role for the ISE product development and maintenance which requires extensive collaboration with multiple cross functional cross geographical agile scrum teams:

Your Impact

Develop, Enhance ISE platform features, platform built on Cisco UCS hardware and Linux software. Debug, troubleshoot and resolve ISE platform related customer issues. In addition develop software on Cisco Access manager cloud platform and provide debugging and troubleshooting support.

·      Advanced experienced professional using standard methodologies and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services.

·      Works independently but receives minimal guidance and direction from leader then determines best approach to accomplish work.

·      Understands project and/or department needs and establishes relationships with appropriate multi-functional stakeholders to gather input, collect information and complete work steps.

·      Will lead projects from end-to-end through delegation, review, and getting results holistically.

·      Identifies and recommends improvements to the software development lifecycle and standard processes in agile engineering.

·      Leads delivery of high-quality design of features and deliverables.

·      Finds opportunities for multiple products to work together to build value for customers.

·      Integrates product sense as it relates to design of the product (market awareness, production adoption, competition) and tracks related metrics.

·      Writes functional clean code and unit tests with no guidance.

·      Maintains and enhances solutions by fixing complicated errors, raising risks, and advancing issues where necessary.

·      Identifies immediate and larger scope problems through thorough code reviews.

·      Tests and reviews code to optimize scale, velocity, and reliability of deliverables.

·      Monitors the production environment and works multi-functionally to identify problems and track production systems.

·      Shares knowledge across teams, both informally and formally (e.g., ad-hoc basis, internal presentations, blogs, newsletters).

·      Coordinates across teams to estimate times and complete projects according to specification and user requirements.

·      Tracks achievements, progress and provides ongoing updates and remediation plans to cross-functional partners.

·      Mentors peers or more junior team members. Assists other engineers through code reviews, documentation, and technical guidance.

Minimum Qualifications:

·      Bachelors + 7 years of related experience OR Masters + 4 years of related experience OR PhD + 1 year of related experience.

·      Strong hands on Experience into Java applications, Golang development , and cloud applications majorly into AWS

·      Should have knowledge on python for automation

·      Should have good understanding/working knowledge into Microservices architecture and Kubernetes

·      Requires solid conceptual and practical knowledge in application development. Networking knowledge related to security or network management is preferred.
