Global Business Services

Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview*

Digital Gateway is part of shared service platform, which serves the banks Orchestration and Routing for applications within Digital Platforms. It provides centralized handling of API interactions between UI and services. It sends the customer profile retrieved from various source of records systems, aggregates the information, and provides caching mechanism for consuming applications.

Job Description*

The resource should be able to enhance and maintain existing enterprise application – Online and Mobile Gateway. This can involve On-boarding new consuming applications and enhancement of existing functionality.

The resource will be responsible for the analysis and design for any new requirements and review the same with engineering team.

Implementation of code and collaborate with team for review.

Ensuring any change pushed to higher environment are error free.

Provide suggestion on process and project optimization.

Responsibilities*

The resource should be able to independently handle analysis, design, development, and execution for the initiatives assigned. Eventually scale up to mentor and guide new resources.

• Own the delivery of weekly and monthly deliverables, working closely with the leads to ensure on time delivery consistently and with high quality.
• Actively participate in code review to understand the best practices followed in project and provide suggestions for improvement.
• Should actively participate in all agile meeting like scrum, sprint planning for setting up clear goals and expectation on deliverables. Should proactively bring up any impediments affecting delivery.
• Taking ownership of the initiatives assigned from design phase to implementation.
• Use the best of practices to ensure the code pushed is error free and meets application standards.
• Skillful in defect management, drive triages with other teams to ensure the root cause is identified and fixed.
• Domain & Technical Skill enhancement, Ability convert business requirement into technical implementation.

Requirements*

Education*

• Bachelor's degree/master’s degree in engineering, Business, Computer Science, or related field.

• Certifications If Any:

Experience Range*

• 10 - 14 Years

Foundational Skills*

• 10 – 14 years of relevant experience in process management, business analysis, or product development with strong experience in below tech stack.
• Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring boot, Web services.
• Server - IBM WebSphere Application Server, Apache Tomcat.
• CI/CD- Jenkins, Bit bucket, Maven.
• Log4j, Splunk.
• Knowledge in cloud and its monitoring tools will be handy
• Knowledge in creating Agents.
• Critical Thinking – Ability to break down complex problems and propose actionable solutions.
• Collaboration – Experience working across diverse functions and stakeholders.
• Adaptability – Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Attention to Detail – Strong focus on accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Ownership – Takes initiative, follows through, and holds self-accountable for results.
• Technical - Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring boot

Desired Skills*

• Experience working with Core banking systems, payment gateways, middleware teams in any banking applications.

• 11.30 AM to 8.30 PM IST (Need to flexible as per business need)
