About the Role:

We are looking for a strong C++ Software Engineer with experience working with game engines or real-time

interactive systems. The engineer will contribute to gameplay, engine-level systems, feature integration,

debugging, and performance-related engineering.

Professional game-development experience is highly desirable but not mandatory. Strong software engineers with

solid C++ fundamentals and relevant engine experience are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on programming experience in C++, with solid understanding of object-oriented design,

memory management, data structures, multithreading and debugging.

• Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine, Unity, proprietary game engines, or comparable real-time

interactive frameworks.

• Good understanding of game-engine concepts such as:

1. Game loop and frame updates
2. Actors/entities and components
3. Object lifecycle and ownership
4. Input and event systems
5. Rendering, physics and collision fundamentals
6. Asset/resource management

• Ability to understand and work effectively with existing codebases.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of software design and engineering practices.
• Experience with source-control systems such as Git or Perforce.

Highly Desired

● Professional game-development, co-development, or game-engineering experience.

● Unreal Engine and Unreal C++ experience.

● Experience with one or more areas such as gameplay systems, multiplayer/networking, AI, animation, physics, tools or engine systems.

● Performance profiling and optimization experience.

● Experience developing or shipping applications on PC, console, or mobile.

What We're Looking For

An engineer who can go beyond implementing individual tasks—someone capable of understanding systems,

investigating problems, tracing unfamiliar code, identifying root causes, discussing technical trade-offs, and

owning features through implementation and integration.

Game-development experience is preferred, but strong C++ engineering fundamentals and game-engine

knowledge are the core requirements.
