Job Summary:

Core Platform development is spread across multiple cross-functional teams, each building large and complex components of the MDM platform. Engineer plays senior role in a team is technically responsible for particular feature delivery which consists of:

• Presenting a solution to Architects
• Technical drive feature delivery, make decisions, development leadership - distribute tasks across one or two regular engineers 
• Work with QA to review testing approaches, provide all details needed for testing, and review test plans
• Be responsible for all internal feature documentation

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Tech leads and architects, Kanban master, QA and PM to deliver high-quality work 
• Complex features development
• Provide good code coverage in unit and integration testing
• Be ready for every day technical decisions
• Professional communication with other cross-functional team representatives
• Be ready for sustenance in areas under engineer's responsibility

Skills You Must Have:          

• 2+  years of experience in enterprise application design, development
• 2+ Experience in backend applications development
• Proven ability to deliver solutions, offer implementation support, and engage with customers.
• 1+ years of experience in building scalable distributed data systems using Java and Cloud Technology.
• Good technical background with previous development experience for enterprise customers
• Strong Java knowledge (Java 8 and above), Java Runtime basics
• Provide Technical mentorship and leadership to junior team members.
• Hands-on technically, comfortable reviewing and writing code.
• Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in algorithms, data structures, software design, and building large, distributed systems
• Experience in performance optimisations, code profiling, and Java application runtime  analysis

Skills That Are Nice to Have:     

• Experience in customer support in the SaaS area
• Experience in building scalable distributed data systems using Cloud Technology
• Technical background with previous development experience for enterprise customers
• Experience with Big Data Technologies
• Experience with No-SQL databases
• Experience with cloud-managed services - AWS, GBT, Azure
• MS or equivalent experience
