Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experience Social Worker to join our client's Intermediate Care Services Team. This role involves reviewing and assessing a backlog of cases, completing standard assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

What will your responsibilities be? 

• Improve Outcomes: Enhance outcomes for adults with care and support needs and carers.
• Strengths-Based Assessments: Undertake effective strengths-based assessments, planning, and direct work with adults with care and support needs and carers, identifying needs in accordance with the Care Act 2014, statutory guidance, policy, and procedures.
• Safeguarding Duties: Undertake safeguarding duties as required to protect adults with care and support needs from abuse or neglect.
• Professional Practice: Practise social work in a transparent, accountable, and safe way in accordance with professional standards, ethics, and values.

Qualifications and Experience: 

To be successful in this role you must have;  

• Professional Qualification: A recognised professional qualification in social work, such as an MA, BA, BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW (Certificate of Qualification in Social Work).
• Registration: Must be registered with Social Work England, the regulatory body for social workers in England.
• Experience: Significant experience in delivering social work services to vulnerable adults, including those with disabilities and complex needs.
• Knowledge of Legislation: Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, such as the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
• Skills: Strong assessment and analysis skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence and access to a car are often required for client visits.
