Job Description

Job Summary**

As a Personal Banker at United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd, you will be a key point of contact for our individual customers, building strong relationships and providing personalized financial solutions to help them achieve their financial goals.

Job Responsibilities**

* Proactively identify and assess customer financial needs and provide appropriate UOB banking products and services, including deposits, loans, investments, and insurance.
* Develop and maintain a strong client portfolio through effective relationship management, cross-selling, and up-selling.
* Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive banking experience.
* Adhere to all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and ethical conduct.
* Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the overall branch performance.
* Stay updated on market trends, product knowledge, and competitor activities to effectively advise customers.
* Participate in branch initiatives and promotional activities to enhance customer engagement and business growth.
* Process banking transactions accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications**

* A Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail banking, sales, or customer service, preferably within the financial services industry.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Strong understanding of banking products, services, and financial markets.
* Customer-centric with a passion for providing exceptional service.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken). Knowledge of other local languages is an advantage.
* Possess relevant financial certifications (e.g., FIMM, PCE, CEILI) is a plus.
