Über diese Smart Home Care Technician (Home Technology Installation) Stelle bei Lilli
We're looking for a practical, reliable and compassionate Care Technologist to join Lilli. This role is for someone who enjoys getting technology working in the real world and knows that a home visit calls for patience, respect and good judgement.
As a Smart Home Care Technologist at Lilli, you’ll bring home-monitoring technology into people’s homes, set it up properly and make sure customers and their families understand how it works. Your work helps care teams see changes in someone’s daily routines and make better-informed decisions about the support they need.
Lilli’s purpose is to help people live safely and independently at home. It's discreet sensors monitor patterns such as movement, sleep and daily activity, without cameras or voice recognition. It’s thoughtful technology, installed with care and you’ll be the person who makes that first experience work.
This is a hybrid, hands-on role: working from home, visiting customers and on occasion our Pulborough office. You’ll initially cover installations in the Bromley area, with the area potentially expanding over time. Most of your time will be spent installing, configuring and supporting Lilli equipment, with some assessments and customer calls as part of the process.
What you’ll do
· Manage incoming referrals and call customers to arrange installations, repairs and collections.
· Visit customers’ homes to install Lilli equipment safely and neatly, including minor drilling or adjustments where needed.
· Connect, configure and test sensors and related equipment, checking that everything is working before you leave.
· Set up the Lilli app on iOS or Android devices for customers and family members.
· Troubleshoot basic connectivity and setup issues and replace or collect equipment when needed.
· Carry out assessments as part of the referral and installation process.
· Record accurate referral and installation notes in HubSpot CRM.
· Report incidents promptly in line with company guidance.
· Plan your own day, keep your stock and equipment organised, and share useful customer feedback with the wider team.
Requirements
This isn't just about installing equipment. It's about helping people feel safe, supported and confident in their own homes. You'll need:
· Practical experience installing, configuring or maintaining connected devices, home technology or similar equipment.
· Confidence with Wi-Fi, routers, smartphones and basic connectivity troubleshooting.
· A careful, methodical approach and awareness of basic electrical safety.
· Clear communication and a calm, reassuring manner with customers and their families.
· Experience working with vulnerable people, or the judgement and empathy to work respectfully in sensitive situations.
· Organisation and confidence managing a changing schedule and working independently in the field.
Helpful experience
Have experience in technology-enabled care (TEC), telecare, assistive technology, home automation, alarms or IoT. A background in health or social care, such as occupational therapy support, rehabilitation or support work would be a great fit.
