The SLS Technical Specialist is responsible for the customer-facing role, provide advanced technical expertise, lead on-site investigations, support strategic opportunities, and collaborate with commercial teams to help customers improve product quality, productivity, and sustainability. This position will be working across breweries, beverage, dairy, protein, and other Food & Beverage applications, as a trusted advisor to customers while contributing directly to business growth and customer success.

This position reports to the SLS Director and is part of the Food & Beverage team located in Diadema, São Paulo and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead technical evaluations, investigations, trials, and validation activities at customer sites.
• Provide filtration and process expertise to customers and the commercial organization.
• Independently manage complex technical projects from opportunity qualification through implementation.
• Deliver technical presentations, customer training, and workshops.
• Act as a technical mentor and resource for colleagues across the region.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical, applications, process engineering, quality, or customer-facing role.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Fluent Portuguese and English.
• Valid passport and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

• Ability to travel – 50%

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience supporting breweries, beverages, dairy, protein, or adjacent Food & Beverage markets.
• Knowledge of filtration, separation, clarification, membrane, or bioprocess technologies.
• Drives customer satisfaction and business growth through technical excellence.
