Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Our team is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join them. You will report to the Warehouse Manager and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, North Carolina.

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk supports daily warehouse operations with a primary focus on receiving while providing shipping support as needed. This position is responsible for accurately processing incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining inventory records and documentation, and supporting the efficient movement of materials throughout the operation.

Schedule: 9/80 work schedule, with every other Friday off. Standard start time is 8:00 AM.

To be considered for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of shipping and receiving experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and data entry tools.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as business needs require.
• Ability to safely lift 20 to 40 lbs. regularly and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to perform frequent standing, lifting, squatting, and material handling activities.

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will:

• Support daily shipping and receiving operations with a primary focus on receiving and provide shipping coverage as needed.
• Process systematic receipts in the Epicor ERP system, ensuring purchase order quantities and delivered quantities match.
• Review Certificates of Conformance (CoC) and related receiving documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify incoming vendor orders against purchase orders and supporting documentation.
• Identify and escalate receiving discrepancies to the appropriate team members for resolution.
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments using UPS, FedEx, DHL, next-day air, and other applicable shipping services.
• Ensure outgoing materials are properly packaged, labeled, documented, and prepared for shipment.
• Manage inventory transactions and perform basic inventory transfers within the ERP system.
• Maintain accurate inventory, shipping, receiving, and transaction records.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with quarterly and annual physical inventory counts.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support inventory accuracy, traceability, and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Supply Chain, Quality, and other team members to support material flow and resolve shipping or receiving issues.
• Assist with general warehouse and material handling activities as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
• Follow all applicable safety, quality, inventory control, and compliance procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $20 - $22/hour, based on experience
