PT FWD Insurance Indonesia (“FWD Insurance”), a joint-venture insurance company and a part of FWD Group, previously known as PT Commonwealth Life, has successfully merged with PT FWD Life Indonesia (“FWD Life”) as of 1 December 2020 and will be known as FWD Insurance.

The merger of FWD Life and FWD Insurance has led to a more comprehensive range of products, including unit-linked insurance, individual & group term life insurance, individual & group personal accident insurance, and group medical insurance through technology driven-distributions such as agency, bancassurance, e-commerce, and corporate.

Drive the growth of FWD Syariah Agency business through recruitment, leader and agent development, activation, sales enablement, and business growth initiatives. This role will work closely with the existing Agency team and Agency leaders to strengthen Sharia business capabilities, execute Agency growth initiatives and develop opportunities through Islamic communities, Sharia ecosystem and relevant strategic partners.

Agency Business Growth & Sales

• Drive Sharia Agency business growth and contribute to the achievement of FWD Syariah Agency sales, productivity, and business targets.
• Work closely with the Agency team to develop and execute sales initiatives, campaigns, contests, and other programs to increase Agency sales and productivity.
• Develop relevant sales propositions, sales stories, and sales tools to strengthen agents’ ability to position and sell Sharia products effectively.
• Support the execution of new product launches and strategic Agency sales initiatives to drive agent adoption and business growth.
• Monitor Agency sales performance, productivity, and key business indicators, and develop appropriate actions to address performance gaps.

Agency Recruitment & Expansion

• Develop and execute Sharia-focused Agency recruitment initiatives through agreed recruitment models and programs.
• Support the Agency team to identify and engage Agency leaders with the potential and commitment to develop and grow Sharia business.
• Work with Agency leaders to build recruitment pipelines and develop Sharia-focused agents and future leaders.
• Develop recruitment opportunities through Islamic communities and the broader Sharia ecosystem to expand the Agency talent pipeline.
• Coordinate recruitment initiatives closely with the Agency team to ensure alignment with overall Agency strategy, processes, and priorities.

 

Agency Development & Capability

• Develop and continuously enhance the Sharia Agency capability framework, curriculum, and development journey for Agency leaders and agents.
• Develop and maintain training materials, product training, sales stories, sales tools, and other capability-building materials to support Sharia Agency business growth.
• Conduct and facilitate training, coaching, and development programs to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and sales capabilities of Agency leaders and agents.
• Identify capability gaps among Agency leaders and agents and develop appropriate training and development interventions.

Agency Activation & Leader Engagement

• Build and maintain strong engagement with Agency leaders to identify and develop Sharia business opportunities within their respective organizations.
• Proactively engage Agency leaders and agents to increase participation and activity in Sharia business.
• Develop Sharia-specific propositions, tools, programs and initiatives to support Agency activation and productivity.
• Provide Sharia business expertise support for Agency leaders and Agency Team.

Sharia Ecosystem & Partnership Development

• Develop and maintain relationships with Islamic communities, Sharia ecosystem partners, Nazhir partners, institutions, and other relevant external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities within Islamic communities and the Sharia ecosystem to support Agency recruitment, lead generation, customer acquisition, and business growth.
• Develop and execute programs that connect Agency distribution with relevant Islamic communities and Sharia ecosystem opportunities.
• Coordinate ecosystem and partnership initiatives with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution.

Business Execution & Coordination

• Work closely with the Agency team to ensure alignment of Sharia Agency initiatives with the overall Agency strategy, priorities, and operating model.
• Coordinate with Product, Marketing, Training, Operations, and other relevant functions to ensure effective execution of Sharia Agency business initiatives.
• Support the development of Sharia Agency business plans, forecasts, performance reviews, and management updates.
• Monitor the implementation of agreed initiatives and ensure timely follow-up and completion of action plans.
• Provide business insights and recommendations based on Agency sales, recruitment, activation, and productivity performance.
