EssenceMediacom is seeking a talented SEO Account Manager to join our Organic Performance team in London. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the daily execution of the Google organic search strategy in EMEA across multiple Google products such as Google Ads, Gemini, Pixel, etc. Your main objective will be to ensure that Google's websites are optimised for search engines, user experience, and conversion rates.
You will be the primary point of contact for clients and responsible for day-to-day communication, ensuring the strategy is being deployed and implemented efficiently. You will work closely with Senior Executives and SEO Directors to deliver best-in-class SEO recommendations and drive results. We are looking for someone who is passionate about organic search, has strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, is a team player, and always eager to learn and grow.
Client-facing experience is essential as the role involves frequent interaction with clients, explaining recommendations, and reporting on performance. In addition, understanding of PPC and recent developments in this area is highly desirable as collaboration with the Paid Search team through Integrated Search will be part of this role.
About the team
You will be part of the Organic Performance team, which helps clients improve performance and user experience across their digital assets via organic (non-paid) channels like organic search (SEO), content optimisation, GEO, and integrated search. Our team comprises experts who specialise in a range of disciplines within Organic Performance, some of whom have been in the team for 10 years. With such an experienced team working with you day to day, you will receive plenty of opportunities to learn and upskill yourself outside of your direct remit.

Some of the things we’d like you to do:
- Full responsibility of the project’s performance from start to finish
- Develop market leading organic performance strategies
- Fully understand client products and commercial objectives
- Ensure strong project management and delivery against deadlines
- Organise and coordinate communication between clients and internal teams to ensure efficient and integrated ways of working
- Conduct market research to be used for optimisation of different forms of content following best practice
- Perform technical SEO audits, identify issues and recommend fixes as well as following up with a review of the implementation
- Assisting with site migrations (pre and post launch)
- Integration with PPC to create synergy in Search
- Monitor and report on campaign performance
- Uses critical questioning and maintains a broad perspective when analysing information to gain a deeper understanding of the problem and wider impact.
- Quickly generates solutions informed by previous experience and understands how to resolve escalated issues..
- Develop case studies throughout the course of the year
- Coach and train junior members
- Work with other members of the Organic Performance team to develop knowledge and understanding of Organic Search, Content Marketing, etc.
Skills and Experience
- SEO experience in a digital media agency
- A proven track record in delivering high performance SEO strategies
- Knowledge of SEO practices and latest industry updates
- Proficiency with audience research and SEO tools (Keyword Planner, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Ahrefs, etc.)
- Strong understanding and knowledge of content optimisation and Technical SEO (international SEO and site migration experience desirable)
- Well organised and highly structured individual, with flawless project management skills
- Show initiative and proactivity
- Great analytical skills, proven critical thinking capability and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal, written and slides/visual format
- Self-starter who can proactively influence clients to help evolve best practices and drive innovation
- Experience in internal and external stakeholder relationship management
- Good understanding of paid media (i.e. PPC/Social/Display)
