You are a Senior Warehouse Material Handler who plays a key role in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment while ensuring timely, efficient service to both internal and external customers. You are expected to actively participate in the daily operational tasks performed by the warehouse team, including material receiving, order picking, and executing material transactions within the ERP system. You are responsible for organizing the daily flow of materials, ensuring accuracy in shipping, receiving, and inventory control, and maintaining compliance with company safety policies and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities:

 

• Ensure daily warehouse operational plans are executed effectively and on schedule
• Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring compliance with documentation standards
• Support shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading materials for technicians
• Administer inventory control processes, cycle counts and manage order selection using inventory tracking systems
• Utilize industry best practices for stock management, security, and asset protection, including auditing processes
• Operate forklifts and handle materials weighing up to 40 lbs. safely and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with standard warehouse procedures and company policies
• Provides informal guidance and support to warehouse material handlers by demonstrating and upholding company values and safety standards
• Coordinate day-to-day communications with Operations teams and subcontractors as needed
• Support onboarding and training of new team members to ensure adherence to processes and safety practices

 

Qualifications:

 

• Minimum of 4 years of experience working in a warehouse or similar environment
• Experience with inventory tracking systems for handling all inbound and outbound stock
• Experience with auditing processes that include all operational aspects with specific focus on process compliance, assets protection, security, quality control and labour utilization
• Previous experience with an ERP system is preferred (inventory transactions in any ERP previously)
• Strong interpersonal skills with experience building relationships across all organizational levels
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities driven by customer demands
• Intermediate to advanced user Microsoft Office programs, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel (JD Edwards and database software experience considered an asset)

Compensation

$50,400.00 - $69,300.00

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
