  • Create and maintain UI automation using Selenium, Playwright, or comparable technologies.
  • Develop automated tests for REST APIs and other service interfaces, including validation of payloads, error handling, authentication, and integration scenarios.
  • Perform database testing using SQL to validate data quality, transformations, calculations, consistency, and persistence.
  • Identify suitable automation opportunities and maintain an effective balance between automated and exploratory testing.
  • Analyse requirements and technical designs to identify risks, ambiguities, dependencies, and testability concerns early in the delivery process.
  • Investigate complex failures across application, API, database, and infrastructure layers, clearly communicating findings and supporting root-cause analysis.
  • Integrate automated tests with version control and continuous integration workflows.
  • Review test code and contribute to coding standards, reusable components, and maintainable automation practices.
  • Track and communicate quality risks, test coverage, defects, and release-readiness information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Use AI-assisted tools responsibly to improve activities such as test design, test-data creation, code generation, failure analysis, and technical documentation, while reviewing generated outputs for accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate proactively with colleagues across different functions, locations, and cultures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across quality assurance and software engineering practices.
  • Share knowledge and provide technical guidance through peer reviews, documentation, and day-to-day collaboration, without formal people-management responsibilities.
