We’re looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter who brings more than great recruiting skills. We need someone who understands technical talent, knows how to find people others may not, and can turn complex hiring needs into smart talent strategies.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with Technology leaders, lead end-to-end recruiting for critical technical roles, build proactive talent pipelines, and bring market intelligence that helps us make better hiring decisions. You’ll play an important role in building the technical capabilities that will power the next stage of Floor & Decor’s growth.

What You’ll Do

• Develop a deep understanding of our Technology organization, including team structures, platforms, technical skill sets, priorities, and future capability needs.

• Serve as a strategic talent advisor to Technology leaders, translating business and technical needs into thoughtful, targeted hiring strategies.

• Lead full-cycle recruiting across a range of technical roles, from kickoff and proactive sourcing through assessment, offer negotiation, and close.

• Build targeted sourcing strategies to identify and engage specialized and passive technical talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, talent communities, referrals, market mapping, and other creative sourcing channels.

• Develop and maintain proactive talent pipelines for specialized, recurring, and business-critical technology roles to increase speed and agility when hiring needs arise.

• Use talent market intelligence, compensation insights, competitive research, and supply-and-demand data to help leaders understand the market and make informed talent decisions.

• Build meaningful partnerships with hiring managers, providing transparency, thoughtful recommendations, and a high level of service throughout the recruiting process.

• Create an exceptional candidate experience, bringing the Floor & Decor story and technology opportunity to life while maintaining speed, transparency, and consistent communication.

• Use recruiting data and insights to identify opportunities, measure effectiveness, and continually improve hiring outcomes.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Talent Acquisition processes, tools, technology, and practices as we build a more scalable, high-impact recruiting function.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including meaningful experience recruiting technology and technical talent.

• Proven success recruiting for specialized technology roles such as software engineering, data and AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure/cloud, architecture, product, enterprise applications, or related technical disciplines.

• Strong sourcing expertise with demonstrated success identifying, engaging, and converting passive technical candidates.

• Ability to understand technical roles and skill sets well enough to ask strong questions, evaluate candidate alignment, and credibly partner with Technology leaders.

• Proven success partnering with senior leaders and influencing hiring strategies through talent expertise, market knowledge, and data.

• Strong consultative skills with the confidence to challenge assumptions, provide market perspective, and recommend alternative approaches when needed.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with both candidates and hiring leaders.

• Ability to manage multiple complex searches and competing priorities while maintaining a high level of candidate and hiring manager experience.

• Curiosity and a learning mindset, particularly around AI, emerging technologies, technical skills, and evolving talent markets.

• Proficiency with recruiting technologies such as Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing tools, and CRM platforms.

• On-site 4 days per week at our Store Support Center in Atlanta.

Bonus Points For

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Technology, or a related field.

• Experience recruiting technology talent within retail, consumer, digital, or another high-growth organization.

• Experience supporting rapidly evolving technology organizations or transformation initiatives.

• Experience recruiting talent across emerging areas such as AI, machine learning, data science, or cloud technologies.
