About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer (L3) - Cloud, Infrastructure & Backup to provide advanced technical support, manage enterprise infrastructure, and resolve complex technical escalations across cloud, endpoint, networking, virtualization, and security environments.

In this role, you will serve as a senior technical escalation point, leveraging your expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Windows Autopilot, and enterprise infrastructure technologies. You will play a key role in maintaining system reliability, strengthening security, automating operational processes, and delivering effective technical solutions.

Ideal Profile

Technical Expertise

• At least 5 years of experience in an L3 Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer role.

• Strong hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

• Extensive experience with VMware vSphere and Hyper-V administration and troubleshooting.

• Strong networking knowledge, including VLANs, switching, routing, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.

• Practical experience administering Fortinet firewalls and managing security policies.

• Advanced Windows Server administration skills, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Services.

• Experience managing Certificate Servers and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).

• Familiarity with Datto RMM or similar remote monitoring and management platforms.

• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.

Problem-Solving and Communication

• Advanced troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions to recurring technical issues.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.

• A proactive approach to infrastructure management, security, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).

• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate).

• ITIL 4 Foundation.

• Microsoft Endpoint Administrator or related Microsoft certifications.

• Fortinet NSE certifications.

• VMware certifications.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure and Technical Escalation

• Provide Level 3 technical support and act as the final escalation point for complex infrastructure, cloud, and endpoint management issues.

• Investigate and resolve advanced technical incidents across enterprise environments.

• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement permanent corrective measures.

Cloud and Endpoint Management

• Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and Windows Autopilot environments.

• Manage and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) infrastructure and user environments.

• Monitor and manage endpoints using Datto RMM and other monitoring tools.

Virtualization and Server Administration

• Administer and troubleshoot VMware vSphere and Hyper-V virtualization platforms.

• Maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Services.

• Support certificate management and PKI infrastructure.

Networking and Security

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VLANs, switches, routers, and enterprise networking environments.

• Administer Fortinet firewalls, security policies, VPNs, and related security services.

• Apply security best practices to support the stability and protection of IT infrastructure.

Automation and Continuous Improvement

• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate operational tasks and improve service delivery efficiency.

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation and infrastructure-as-code practices.

• Contribute to proactive monitoring and continuous infrastructure improvement.

Projects and Service Management

• Participate in infrastructure projects, system migrations, upgrades, and cloud transformation initiatives.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.

• Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices and established service management processes.
