The Senior Solution Consultant, WMS acts as a trusted advisor to prospective customers, helping them understand how Infios supply chain solutions can support complex warehouse operations. You will lead discovery, design value-driven solutions, and deliver tailored demonstrations and proofs of concept that connect operational requirements with measurable business outcomes.
Working closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams, you will guide technical and commercial conversations across warehouse management, automation, integrations, and the wider Infios portfolio. You will engage stakeholders from operational management to C-suite leadership, helping customers build a clear solution vision and advance confidently through the sales process.
What a day in the life looks like
- Lead customer discovery sessions to understand warehouse processes, business priorities, technology environments, operational constraints, and performance goals.
- Translate complex requirements into scalable WMS solution designs and clearly communicate their operational and commercial value.
- Build and deliver tailored demonstrations and proofs of concept, including advanced WMS configuration, test data, success criteria, and automation scenarios.
- Guide conversations about ERP, EDI, API, MHE, WES, and WCS integrations, while clarifying configuration, customisation, roadmap considerations, and delivery handoffs.
- Engage operational, IT, Finance, Procurement, and C-suite stakeholders with value narratives, ROI analyses, and business cases linked to measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Delivery teams on deal planning, RFP and RFI responses, competitive positioning, reusable assets, and a seamless transition to implementation.
What you bring to the team
- At least eight years of software or technology experience, including six or more years in WMS-focused solution consulting or presales for medium or complex warehouse environments.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain execution and hands-on experience with WMS processes such as receiving, put-away, slotting, wave planning, replenishment, cycle counting, returns, labour management, and RF or voice workflows.
- Proven ability to lead warehouse discovery, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver advanced demonstrations or proofs of concept connected to measurable KPIs.
- Practical knowledge of warehouse automation and integration technologies, including AMR, MHE, WES, WCS, APIs, EDI, and ERP integration patterns.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, storytelling, and communication skills, with the confidence to engage C-suite stakeholders and manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales opportunities.
- Fluent business English and willingness to travel approximately 40 to 50%. A relevant bachelor’s degree, SQL knowledge, MEDDIC or MEDDICC familiarity, and additional European language skills are advantageous.
